A lot of 7 early 1900's turned spindles that measure about 11 inches tall x 1 3/8 inches at their widest. These are original. And were installed as spindles to hold up shelves in a old general store in SW Nebraska. they are varnished fur or pine wood and are dirty& dusty, having been stored away in a barn for years.

these are in nice shape they have a little weather but the wood in not punky they do have nails. top and bottom are from a stair case and the corner post is complete the extra piece gave extra support. this is a very nice bunch. These came out of a house that was built in 1920 and they were going to burn it down. if a dimension is critical ask me to double check i can make a mistake i have made one so please ask. if you do not ask i have plus or minus inches 3.5" thanks for understanding. if you need ask a question and i will do my best to answer it. Offered are 4 antique porch railing spindles or balusters. They are about 27" long(3/4" of that being a dovetail) and the larger place is 1-3/8" wide. They are made of cherry wood and have previously been painted. The paint is mostly worn off. But there are many traces of the old white paint left. Cleaned one section and oiled it to show what refinished would look like, with more sanding it would be lighter in color. Nice antique large wood porch baluster. The listing price is for each baluster and it is set up to combine shipping at checkout. Each one has old crusty grey paint. All balusters in the lot are in good solid condition with only minor weather checks. And the normal nails and nail holes in the bases and tops.
