Vintage 8 ft. White Oak Step Railing/Handrail with 3 Wall Brackets This vintage railing is made of solid white oak and dates from around 1900 to the 1920's. The oak railing and brackets have been stripped and finished. The handrail has been finished with a natural wood beeswax and the brackets with a clear satin lacquer finish. The railing is 8' 2 3/4" long with the angled ends from tip to tip.The oak railing top surface is 8' 1/2" long and 4" high( which includes the metal u-channel mounted to the bottom) and 2" wide. The railing comes with three(3) heavy duty cast iron wall brackets that can swivel somewhat to your steps angle. Vintage Antique Industrial 6 ft Iron Handrail with Wall Brackets, Stair Rail
This solid all one piece antique handrail is all solid iron. The mount brackets are welded in place, it measures 71" long, the rail is 1 1/4" x 1/2" thick, the 3 wall mount flanges are 3" diameter and each have 3 screw holes to mount to a wall. Heavy and sturdy, all solid so it weight close to 20 lbs and will last a lifetime! Wonderful curl detail at each end, could be mounted on left or right, overall length covers 6 or 7 steps(at my house, but yours may vary) awesome industrial/ institutional design, the paint has perfect patina, aged white over a black layer- i think it looks great, but could easily be stripped or painted to suit your needs. Ornate Iron Railings Victorian Wrought Iron 12' section Handrail Baluster Stair
Wonderful antique iron baluster railings. Set of 2 matching pieces. The longer one measures 12 feet long. It is an angled section. The best I can approximate. It rises 4 feet over the 12 foot run. I think that makes it a 30 degree incline? It is very heavy(probably 200+ pounds) Missing some of the rings in the design, but still a nice run of rail overall. Rust isn't deep- mostly surface rust if any. You will get both sections pictured here. The smaller porch steps handrail is 3 feet long at level, then another 25" downhill. The difference in height of the 2 ground posts on the porch rail is 14" This means it is probably only meant for 2 or 3 steps. I'm putting this on ebay to see what interest there is for it. I have 3 matching ones that measure approximately as follows: the backplate that attaches to the wall is approximately 4 by 1 1/2 inches at the top and tapers to 1 inch the upper curved arm extends approximately 3 inches and the part that is movable to aid in attachment is 2 inches by 3/4 of an inch. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of Vintage Steel Handrails. What a rare find! Beautiful. Vintage handrails salvaged from Northeastern, PA. The rails are made of aluminum and the rest of the parts are steel. The tubing of the posts is hollow and the decorative motifs are cast. We didn't personally remove them. But we could see that the ends of the rails were cut off from wherever they were installed. The posts were anchored to the ground with bolts that were inserted through the base plates. Aside from small nicks and scuffs. All parts are in great shape with no breaks, cracks, dents, or gouges. They are strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service.
