Lot of 8 vintage wood porch or stair spindles/ turnings w/ finials craft salvage This lot is unusual in that the spindles all have a matching finial on the top. Not sure what they were used for. They all were set in a square opening at one time. They have square tops and bottoms, with turned areas in between, and the finial is separate. Some of the finials are loose, could be glued on. They were once stained and varnished, show some wear from use and storage, not bad and could be used as is, or easily be stripped and refinished or painted. Not sure of the type of wood, maybe pine. Each is 28.5" long, including the finial, the square areas are 1 3/4" A fun set for upcycling and crafts. Please ask any questions before bidding to insure satisfaction with the items. This sale includes 10 wooden(painted white with much paint loss and lots of chipping) Victorian spindles. Balusters, railing pieces. They measure 18" x 2 3/4" square. They are in vintage condition with some nail holes from where they had been affixed to the rest of the porch. Although the pictures might appear to be duplicates, I believe I took pictures of all 4 sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition. I also took 2 close ups of 5 at a time and a different perspective shot of all 10. I have 17 more of these balusters that I'll be selling after I see how these do(only 1 of those is in really rough shape) I will be listing other type balusters as well. Lot of 7 Victorian Baluster Porch Spindles Wood 20x2.75" Turnings Green Vintage
This sale includes 7 wooden(painted green) Victorian spindles. Balusters, railing pieces. They measure 20 1/8" x 2 3/4" square. They are in vintage condition with some nail holes from where they had been affixed to the rest of the porch AND some chunks missing at one end of each spindle. There is some paint loss as well. Although the pictures might appear to be duplicates, I believe I took pictures of all 4 sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition. I will be listing other balusters as well. None just like this but some are in greater quantity. If you buy other items from me, I will do my best to ship altogether and give you a break on the S&H.

Lot of 4+ Victorian Baluster Porch Spindles Wood 21x1.75" Turnings Railing Vntg.
This sale includes 4 wooden(stained) Victorian spindles. Balusters, railing pieces as well as a cut-off railing piece. The short piece is 18 1/8" x 1 3/4" square. The other pieces are cut at a slant on each end and measure 21 3/4" at the point and 21 1/2" on the slant side x 1 3/4" square. They are in good vintage condition with some nail holes from where they had been affixed to the rest of the porch. Some chips; it looks like these had been stained but some of that has been worn off. Although the pictures might appear to be duplicates, I believe I took pictures of all 4 sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition. I will be listing other balusters as well. 2 Victorian Baluster Porch Spindles Wood White Turnings Vintage
This sale includes 2 wooden(painted white) Victorian spindles. Balusters, railing pieces. One measures 21 1/4" x 2 3/4" square; the other is a tad longer at approx. 21 3/4" x 2 3/4" square. They are in vintage condition with some nail holes from where they had been affixed to the rest of the porch AND a few small chunks missing and a split in the wood at the 2 3/4" end. There is some paint loss as well. Although the pictures might appear to be duplicates, I believe I took pictures of all 4 sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition. These have a slant cut at one end as you can see from my pictures. The cut isn't the same on both, probably to compensate for the minor height difference. I will be listing other balusters as well. Lot 4 Victorian Baluster Spindle Wood 17”x3" Turnings Vintage This sale includes 4 wooden Victorian spindles/ balusters. That cam from an antique standup piano I recently dismantled for parts. They measure 17"heigth x 3" diameter each weighs 2.4 pounds. They are in vintage condition, I took pictures of all sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition. All the dowels that stick up from the top and bottom are in good shape. Except for one, which is split, see photos#11 and 12. These would be great to make shabby chic decor style candle sticks. Or a table, as seen in photo#2(this photo is just an idea. 75 wood Spindles Turnings Architectural Salvage Rail Gingerbread Peeling Paint
Architectural Salvage 75 Turned Wood Spindles with Old Peeling& Chipped Paint This is definitely a one of a kind listing- one lot of 75 small turned wooden spindles with chipped& peeling white paint. The paint on the spindles is old. Hard, cracked. On many of the spindles the paint is chipping off. Each spindle is 6 1/2" high. The spindles are like small columns with a square cap& base. The square part is about 1 3/8" by 1 3/8" depending on how much paint is on the wood. There are 4 rings in the column and a curved out part. The cylinder part of the column has a 7/8" diameter. I think these were part of the upper decoration on the gingerbread trim of a Victorian porch. But I am not sure. They have some artistic interest just because there are so many of them and with the intricate detail on each spindle. They ... morelook good piled high in a basket or old tub.
