Hi this auction is for ONE antique spindle/baluster. I have 15 to list. And I will combine. Please wait for an invoice if buying more that one.I will ship the best and most economical way. Listed is a nice. Circa 1880's, antique wood porch baluster, or railing piece. These balusters have many uses. The pieces are all the same, but if you turn them on different sides, you can achieve a different look. The approx size of each is: 21" tall, almost 3.5"one one bottom side, and 3 1/8" on the other side. Please keep in mind( if you order more than one) that the length might differ super slightly. you might have to trim one end to have the exact size. Also please keep in mind that these were torn off of a porch and there could be damage and wood loss on the bottoms. Please see photos. The paint is a white shade, slight to no chippy ... morepatina. Lot of 10 Vintage White Shabby Chic Style Architectural Baluster Stair Spindles
Purchased out of a barn behind the house that was holding an estate sale. You are bidding on 10 vintage baluster stair spindles. The contents of the house were being sold by the children of the family that lived there and they have no idea how the stair spindles got in the barn, how they were used or how old they are. As a result I can’t tell you much about them. If you look at the pictures you’ll get a good idea of the condition. I can tell you that there are 10 pieces all together. Eight of the pieces measure 22” long and two have been cut down to 21” in length. Of the two that were cut down. Both ends are in good condition. Of the 8 that are 22” long, one end on three of them shows some damage, which might be why two were cut down. Otherwise they are in nice shabby chic condition. 4 ANTIQUE Wooden BALUSTER SPINDLES Beautiful OLD WHITE PAINT Victorian Columns
Offered as a single lot are four matching 19th century antique wooden architectural columns dating ca. 1890. These turned and painted wooden porch spandrel spindles. Or balusters, were salvaged during the renovation of a Victorian era carriage house in Saratoga Springs, NY. Each antique spindle measures approx. 19.75 inches tall, with base and top measurements of approx. 2.5 inches square. The baluster spindles have a wonderful surface! They still retain most of their old, crackled, chippy white paint. The spindles stand on their own, if you wish to use them as mantel garnitures to flank an antique mirror or portrait. Lot of 10 Victorian Baluster Porch Spindle Wood 18x2.75" Turnings White Vintage
This sale includes 10 wooden(painted white with much paint loss and lots of chipping) Victorian spindles. Balusters, railing pieces. They measure 18" x 2 3/4" square. They are in vintage condition with some nail holes from where they had been affixed to the rest of the porch. Although the pictures might appear to be duplicates, I believe I took pictures of all 4 sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition. I also took 2 close ups of 5 at a time and a different perspective shot of all 10. I have 17 more of these balusters that I'll be selling after I see how these do(only 1 of those is in really rough shape) I will be listing other type balusters as well. 2 Victorian Baluster Porch Spindles Wood White Turnings Vintage
This sale includes 2 wooden(painted white) Victorian spindles. Balusters, railing pieces. One measures 21 1/4" x 2 3/4" square; the other is a tad longer at approx. 21 3/4" x 2 3/4" square. They are in vintage condition with some nail holes from where they had been affixed to the rest of the porch AND a few small chunks missing and a split in the wood at the 2 3/4" end. There is some paint loss as well. Although the pictures might appear to be duplicates, I believe I took pictures of all 4 sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition. These have a slant cut at one end as you can see from my pictures. The cut isn't the same on both, probably to compensate for the minor height difference. I will be listing other balusters as well. Lot of 7 Victorian Baluster Porch Spindle Wood 18x2.75" Turnings White Vintage
This sale includes 7 wooden(painted white with much paint loss and lots of chipping) Victorian spindles. Balusters, railing pieces. They measure 18" x 2 3/4" square. They are in vintage condition with some nail holes from where they had been affixed to the rest of the porch. One of them has major chipping or chunks missing(see last one in all of my pictures) Although the pictures might appear to be duplicates, I believe I took pictures of all 4 sides so you could get a handle on their overall condition.
