Hi this auction is for ONE antique spindle/baluster. I have 15 to list. And I will combine. Please wait for an invoice if buying more that one.I will ship the best and most economical way. Listed is a nice. Circa 1880's, antique wood porch baluster, or railing piece. These balusters have many uses. The pieces are all the same, but if you turn them on different sides, you can achieve a different look. The approx size of each is: 21" tall, almost 3.5"one one bottom side, and 3 1/8" on the other side. Please keep in mind( if you order more than one) that the length might differ super slightly. you might have to trim one end to have the exact size. Also please keep in mind that these were torn off of a porch and there could be damage and wood loss on the bottoms. Please see photos. The paint is a white shade, slight to no chippy ... morepatina. 24 Vintage 23"H Solid Wood Turned Stair Staircase Spindles Post Balusters Column
Penn Antique Restoration. Set of 24 Vintage Heartpine Staircase Spindles. Lovely spindles salvaged from an old home in Northwestern Ohio. Each spindle is made of heartpine. And has squared ends with turnings in between. All are finished with a clear coat of lacquer. All of the spindles are in great shape with only the minor nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on old. Architectural pieces. However, there are no breaks, cracks, or gouges. 2 Oak Baluster Columns Carved Decorative Victorian Circa 1900 Antique Measurements: 21” x 4 1/16” x 1 5/16” Weight: 1.457 kg(3 lbs. 3.4 oz. These carved oak balusters are in excellent condition: no major cracks. Repairs or issues. They have been used and show a few chips. Bumps, rubs and indications of age and experience. These are both flat on one side and were mounted against a flat surface: they are not completely round. I have lightly washed these but have not sanded or extensively worked on them in any way. They have a small fraction of their original finish. Giving them a muted, shabby but chic color tone. Being oak, and in very nice shape, they would strip and refinish with a stain to tones from golden oak to as dark as you like. I estimate they were originally on a piece of furniture that dated to circa 1900. They have age. Style ... moreand still make a presence on their own– someone will be very pleased to own them! Antique or vintage Porch columns pillars posts Solid wood, large diameter three
Three antique or vintage porch columns. Pillars or posts. These were salvaged from a home built in the early 1900's. I am not sure if they were original to the house. I believe that they are solid wood. They have been painted white but the paint is peeling. These are very large diameter columns. They measure about 27 inches around. They are 53 inches in height. They do need work. There is some splitting. One of the columns is missing a piece, I have the piece but it is not attached and is rotten. There are small amounts of rot on the columns but seem to be in fairly good condition overall. Unusual to find them in this size! This is for pickup in northwestern CT only. No shipping is available.
