Up for auction is a wonderful chunky little section of antique railing. It measures 28" wide 25.5" tall and 6.5" thick. The balusters themselves are 3.5" by 3.5" at the ends and they are 19.5" tall if you are considering taking it apart. There are many scuffs and scratches as well as some screw holes on the bottom rail. There is some slight splitting on the top rail right above the balusters. Look closely at these!

Antique walnut and pine stair part that have been carefully removed and stored. The handrail measures 2 1/8" tall and 4" wide. There are 38 long spindles[31" to 32" and 16 short spindles[ 27" to 28" all walnut. The walnut rail pc that connects to the bottom octagon post is 13' 3" and it is spliced towards the bottom end. The 2 balcony boards that have the walnut scrollwork on it are 8'8" and 47" by 10" wide and there is one half circle pc and one quarter circle pc[Both have the scrollwork on them] and the balcony rail pc is around 10' 3" not counting the"wings" on the rail. There are walnut caps to cover the ends of the treads and risers. There are no treads and risers included. The rise and run of the stair is 7 7/8" by 9 1/4" The baseboard that would ... morego below the paneled section is not pictured. But it would go with these parts. The condition is used and there are some splits and cracks here and there. There are some small missing pcs, but for the most part it is pretty complete. I have some other unique trim and doors salvaged from this house that I may have for sale also. Any questions, just ask.

Lot of 13 Antique Spiral Twist Baluster Spindles Pine RARE
Here is a very unusual lot of old architectural spindles. Made of pine with a spiral twist to them. They measure from12 1/2" to 45" including the end blocks. They are cut from 1 1/2" square lumber. Nicely made with no weathering but there are remaining nails in the ends of some and scuffs to the soft shellac varnish. There is a gap in the size progression of 1 piece. LOTS of uses for these spindles besides putting them back into a house. Would date to pre-1900. Very hard to find and difficult to make. Careful packaging. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POSSIBLE

antique mahogany stair parts and moulding
these are a bunch of solid mahogany original details from my harlem nyc townhouse(brownstone) very beautiful. Local pickup or you arrange shipping- meaning you have a person or shipping company come over. Pack them up and ship them. the lengths of the stair handrail pieces are: 10. 10 8, 7, 5.5, 3, and the bottom rail is 5.5- all dimensions in feet and approximate. I have 58 balusters total. they vary in size in order to fit towards the front or back of the step. the shortest ones are for the piece which carries the bottom rail. there are also some odds and ends of moulding and a nice corner detail which you'll see in the pics. some of the moulding is probably pine. Not mahogany, but it's still 100 year old beautiful wood. I'm selling this as one lot- I will not split it up. this is perfect for someone who's renovating a townhouse ... moreand needs original hardwood parts! Antique Vintage Hard Wood Balusters Stair Staircase Spindles Lot of 26 This is a lot of 26 hardwood antique stair balusters removed from a building in PA. I am also listing two newel posts that were removed from the same staircase. You can see them in my other auctions. There are 3 balusters that have flat bottoms as opposed to the slanted ones that were going up the staircase. They measure 30 5/8' There are 13 balusters with the slanted bottoms(shown in the middle) They measure 30¼' There are 10 slanted bottom ones(shown on the right) that measure 26 3/4' The'turned area' on ALL of the spindles measures 18' The tops are 1 3/4" square. Two of the flat ones have a piece gone at the tops from being removed from the railing. I have taken a photo of that section to show the wood grain so that it could possible ... morebe identified. These balusters are heavy and the grains are close together unlike a pine. The wood is not soft. These are dusty(I have not cleaned them) and a few have nails. Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Architectural Porch Railing Balustrade Fence 114"
This auction is for one(1) antique vintage victorian wooden architectural porch spindled fence rail balustrade. It was removed from our 1896 Victorian home as part of a remodeling project. I have no idea in what year this particular porch balustrade was installed on the house. Meaning no way for me to know whether it was an original or a replacement somewhere down the line. I only know the year the house was built, and that the rails were here when we bought it. It is 114 inches long. The top and bottom rails that are held together by the balusters are 3.5" wide. There are 14 spindles that make up the balustrade, with 6 13/16" gaps between each one. The squared-off portions of each spindle are 1 3/8" x 1 3/8" Each spindle/baluster is 26.5" tall. From the top of the top rail to the bottom of the bottom rail, the height ... moreof this piece is 29.5" I've also included pictures of the house when it was still installed before we removed it. ANTIQUE WALNUT NEWEL POST BALUSTER 48" FROM EARLY 1900S FARMHOUSE STAIRWAY
Up for auction is a recent estate find: a majestic early 20th century black walnut baluster from the bottom of a steep stairway. Standing a full 48" tall. At the top at its widest it measures 8 1/2" square, while the column is 6 1/4" square. You can see in the photos where the banister detached from this heirloom, and the unfinished base bottom shows the outlay of walnut boards. Sand and refinish-this would make a spectacular addition to someone's home! Alternatively, this would also make an outstanding, stunning plant stand. Offered as a single lot are four matching 19th century antique wooden architectural columns dating ca. 1890. These turned and painted wooden porch spandrel spindles. Or balusters, were salvaged during the renovation of a Victorian era carriage house in Saratoga Springs, NY. Each antique spindle measures approx. 19.75 inches tall, with base and top measurements of approx. 2.5 inches square. The baluster spindles have a wonderful surface! They still retain most of their old, crackled, chippy white paint. The spindles stand on their own, if you wish to use them as mantel garnitures to flank an antique mirror or portrait. Taken from an old building in Portland. Maine. These spindles were made locally in Portland, Maine long time ago. Good condition considering age. Some have nails in them on top. There is paint/staining. Nice pieces to restore or whatnot. These measurements are taken from the shortest pieces of the top of spindles will have small variances and are approximate due mostly to the dove tails and the stop of spindles. 12 are apprx 27 1/2 inches, Nine are apprx 22 1/2 inches, Two are apprx 25 1/2 inches and one is apprx 22 1/2 inches long. Antique New Orleans Cast Iron Balcony Balustrade Circa 1860
Superb relic of old New Orleans architecture and design. Cast iron balcony balustrade fragment. Measuring about 11 inches wide and about 16 inches tall at its highest point. As you can see clearly the piece is broken along its midsection. It also has a small crack along one small segment that does not affect the structure or appearance. In well aged rusty patina. A fantastic decorator piece or a starting point for a creative project like a fence or gate grated window. Found and made in New Orleans, second half of 19th century, probably 1860-70.

New Orleans Antique Wrought Iron Balustrade Late 19th Century Handmade
Classic New Orleans architectural design is lovingly translated in this late 19th century hand wrought iron balustrade from a local building. The local blacksmithing tradition was perfected by creole and African Americans. Slave and free alike, who inherited the trade from the colonial SPanish and perfected the form for early Louisiana dwellings and buildings, especially in the French Quarter area, where this piece came from. Measures about 24 inches tall and about 9 inches wide. Features a century of rusty patina. As you can see, it has been severely bent in. Probably reparable with a gentle touch and a lot patience, but equally functional as is, for decor and repurposed art. Priced accordingly.

Antique Tiger oak wood Balusters hand rails mortise newel posts large pieces old
I have some very nice pieces that I took out of one of my houses before it was demolished. I took all the parts for a staircase. Everything that you need except the steps. There are 2 Newel posts, the housed and open stringer(very thick) all the shaped, not square ballusters and all the handrails, even the trim that goes in between the ballusters. These all have white paint over them. But can easily be restored. I have restored many of my own items, and I know how beautiful these stairs will look. They would cost a fortune to find a solid piece of oak this large! I also have tons of door and window trim, and doors too. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like more pictures and measurements. The pictures of the refinished stairs are not the items that I have. But look similar if they were restored. New INFO: Large Newel Post ... moreis 56.25" tall and 6" wide at base and 7.5" wide at top. The top has leaves carved into the oak. Look closely through the paint. Lots of detail and is in great shape. Smaller Newel Post is 38" tall and 4.75" wide. And is more of a basic design(came from the same staircase though) There are 22 angle shaped balusters spindles(for the stairs) 25" x 1 5/8. 22 flat end balusters spindles(for the top of stairs down the hallway) 26" x 1.75" Hand Rail is 136" long and is 2.5"x 5" Smaller Hand Rail is 8' long with 2 end pieces that are 6.25" long. Closed Skirt Stringer 99.5 x 8.25 x 7/8. Open Stringer 143" x 11.25 x 1. I also have a bad full of the trim pieces that go between the balusters. And some other trim pieces that came off of the stairs.

This Buy It Now auction features flat wooden balusters removed from a 19th century house in Mathews County. VA. While the balusters came from the same railing, they are not absolutely uniform in size down to the nth degree. They range in length from 23 1/2" to 23 3/4" and are approximately 4 7/8" wide at ends. They are 7/8" thick and weigh about 1 1/2 lbs. each. After laying them out on the ground, I noticed that four of the balusters had a smaller(1 1/4" cutout in the center. The rest of the balusters have cutouts that measure 1 5/8" Please let me know if you have a preference. All balusters show chipping paint, nail holes, and some degree of wear. All measuring approximately 27" long, to replace broken or missing balusters or to create a new, antique-look stairway or balcony. These balusters have just been removed from a 1900 row house in Yonkers. NY. They appear to be solid hardwood- most probably oak- and are all painted white, but have some chips in the paint. This will require either a light sanding and repainting or complete stripping to bare wood and refinishing. Some still have finishing nails, indicating their age may not be as far back as 1910, but all appear to be at least 50 years old, but with the exception of the paint surface, in very good condition. Lot of 11 turned Victorian porch balusters! approximately 1 ⅝” square and 20 ⅝” tall Up for bid is a lot of 11 antique Victorian porch balusters/spindles. These balusters are of matching design. The unturned top section is 2⅞” long. While the unturned bottom end is 3¾” long. Each wooden baluster has old chipping white paint. Note that these are architectural salvage items from a house in Beaver. PA and are around 110 years old. Because of this. They have flaws, dings, etc. that give them character. The bottom about 1 inch is often damaged from the nail holes(a few nail fragments remain) With scattered wood loss in that area. The top ends have nail holes. But with less evident damage. Antique Complete Staircase Railing and Trim- Circa 1870 Pine Eastlake Style. This is a great looking Eastlake style complete railing with all newel posts. Posts, and trim. All of the original Foyer trim and face skirting is intact and present and was just enclosed with a wall(to the right of the first picture) Therefore we have all of the stair face trim as well as the original posts that have not been altered and are present as original. This is an original staircase that was removed from a late 19th century Victorian home in Quincy. IL. The lower rail on the right side as pictured was broken(easily repaired) as were some of the lower sections of the skirt boards during removal(the skirts were scissor cut around the treads and risers) We have all of the pieces for a full and complete restoration of this stair railing. 38 antique Victorian baluster wood porch spindles, single design, 20.6" x 1.6"
Lot of 38 turned Victorian porch balusters! approximately 1 ⅝” square and 20 ⅝” tall Up for bid is a lot of 38 antique Victorian porch balusters/spindles. These balusters are of matching design. The unturned top section is 2” long. While the unturned bottom end is 3½” long. At both ends. The corners to the unturned sections are somewhat rounded. Each wooden baluster has old chipping white paint. Note that these are architectural salvage items from a house in Beaver. PA and are around 110 years old. Because of this. They have flaws, dings, etc. that give them character. The top and bottom about 1 inch are typically somewhat damaged from the nail holes(a few nail fragments remain) In addition. A few have small chunks of other wood missing. The visible parts of the balusters are typical– I distributed the balusters on the ground randomly– ... morewithout looking for the‘best’ sides. I have also listed an additional set of 11 balusters/spindles that were salvaged from the same house. They are the same essential size as this lot. But the turned pattern is somewhat different. Antique Pair Flat Wood Porch Baluster Decorative Architectural Salvage 3181-14
Decorative salvaged flat porch balusters. They are salvaged pieces so there are nails. Nail holes, Small splits and cracks, and possibly a soft spot. They have there original chippy white paint. They are solid and usable and would be great for that genuine original replacement. Or use as a template to make new ones. Overall good usable condition.
