The design is a delicate swirled floral. The blue has a flowed appearance. I also have some in the same pattern that are more distinct) These tiles have a hole in the center. A screw was inserted through the hole to attach the tiles to the metal stove. They are square. Measuring 2-3/8" square X 9/16" thick. These are old and were removed from the stove so have slight imperfections from their intended use. They will make a beautiful backsplash or trivet. They could also be mounted in a custom frame with knobs attached through the screw holes to make a nice jewelry or hand towel rack. Antique Vintage Mosaic Tile Company Blue Ceramic Wall Heater 1920's
This electric wall heater was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's. I'm not sure if it was working when removed. Since the power was already cut to the house. It appears that th e small filaments are broken that run through the ceramic. So I'm thinking that it would need to be repaired to actually be used a s a hea ter again. However. I have seen folks take out the heat ing element and make a recessed magazine holder out of them. There is a metal grate that fits into the openings o f these units. And it is missing on this one. The cover is made of 2 large tiles that fit tog ether. And they are in great shape with no cracks and just a few tiny chips near one of the mounting holes. There is just some discoloration from where the wire grate sat. And there is also some color variation in the glaze. These'MTC' pieces ... moreof that time had a bit of variation in the color which makes for a hand-glazed look. The f inish is matte. The chrome around the control knob is rusty. Delft Blue Holland signed Ceramic Tile Early Old Four Inches Windmill on Pond
This is a square Delft tile. In mint condition. It is four incher square, with no chips, cracks, or dings. It depicts a windmill and house on the pond. The windmill is surrounded by reeds and little inlets with trees in the background. The original sticker is still on the front. The back has markings in the tile, one is a G within a wreath, another has a series of numbers(24, 17, 6, and a 2 on the bottom line) This is a nice vintage tile.

Vintage Glazed Ceramic Delft Blue & White Stove Tiles from Germany
GLAZED CERAMIC STOVE TILES These beautiful ceramic tiles were used to decorate sheet metal stoves in Germany and other European countries. These are a soft Delft blue color on white. The design is a delicate swirled floral. The blue has a flowed appearance. I also have some in the same pattern that are more distinct) These tiles have a hole in the center. A screw was inserted through the hole to attach the tiles to the metal stove. They are square. Measuring 2-3/8" square X 9/16" thick. These are old and were removed from the stove so have slight imperfections from their intended use. They will make a beautiful backsplash or trivet. They could also be mounted in a custom frame with knobs attached through the screw holes to make a nice jewelry or hand towel rack. Have bits of chalky grout left most of which chipped off easily with my fingers. Some neatly applied glue left on back. Tiled were hidden& nicely preserved under a decorative panel in an old early 50s glass top table. These original old tiles are often seen in old 50s houses. 4 ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MINTON HOLLINS BLUE& WHITE FLORAL CERAMIC TILES These lovely antique tiles have a blue and white decorative pattern and were made by Minton Hollins of Stoke upon Trent England. The tiles are in good condition considering their age. One of the tiles is missing part of its top left corner and all the tiles have some minor nibbles to their edge. All of the tiles have various levels of tile cement still attached. As visible in the photos. There is also some crazing to the glaze present on all the tiles, but this does not detract from the quality of the decoration. The tiles measure 6" by 6" and have"MINTON HOLLINS&Co PATENT TILE WORKS STOKE ON TRENT" embossed on their base.
