They are made of walnut& elm. And the tops of the nightstands are a vintage black formica which fools the viewer into thinking it is black stone. Here is what seems to be a rare offering by Kent-Coffey as I have been able to find very little on their Insignia line. This night stand(or end table) is in decent vintage condition. There is moisture damage to the back panel as well as the right rear top corner(see pics) Although it is not readily visible. The corner is raised about 3/16" The same corner has a 3/4" piece of veneer trim missing.again not visible from the front view. Any other flaws in the walnut(and possibly teak) finish are minor and consistent with its age. Drawer joints are tight. Cabinet is solid and sturdy. Beautiful Maker Signed Mid Century Modern Side Table Night Stand by Kent Coffey Offered here is a beautiful vintage Kent Coffey side table or night stand. It is a good sturdy piece made from solid wood. It is a light blonde color tone. It measures 24 1/4 inches tall and 23 inches wide and 17 1/2 inches deep. the bottom shelf is 17 1/4 inches deep and has 8 inches of clearance to place items. The drawer measures about 16 1/2 inches wide and 10 inches deep. The piece is well made and the finish needs some touch up with a stain marker but it is not bad for it's age. This is a great mid century modern piece. I've tried to take a number of pictures so that you can judge for yourself it's quality and value.
