It looks like a new piece of furniture except for two correctable problemss that you can find in the photos and I will do my best to describe. There is a mar on the top surface of the nightstand. Likely from a wet glass or cup. There is some slight roughness over the area of the mark but the wood itself is not raised and does not feel swollen or waterlogged. It could be covered by a table scarf or likely repaired fairly easily. On the front of the bottom drawer, there are two small chips of brown paint missing inside the metal drawer pull. This can be corrected with matching oil paint. Other than these two problems, it is like a new piece of furniture. ... moreThe insides of the drawers and the drawer housings are clean and in perfect condition. They look, feel, and smell as if they have never been used. All joints are tight. There is no wobbliness or unsteadiness. Please take a look at the photos and email with any questions. Vintage small English yew wood two over three drawer chest. The chest measures about 23 3/4" wide x 14 1/2" deep x 28 1/2" tall. The nightstand/end table has brass pulls with dovetailed constructed drawers. The top surface has a contrasting inlay with matchbook veneer. The small chest is in good used condition with normal signs of use and age. There are three small scratches on the top. The piece has been cleaned. Waxed and polished, looks good! You are bidding on a solid cherry L. J. G. Stickley 3 drawer chest or nightstand. The top gives the look of 2 drawers and all the drawers have solid brass hardware. The chest is marked on the back. Cherry Valley, 3526 and looks like it is dated 2-1-76. The nightstand is very good shape with normal nicks, dings and marks for its age. The chest is 22 1/2" wide x 16" deep x 25 1/2 high.
