Drexel Touraine French Provencial Nightstands Mid Century Hollywood Regency Pair
DESCRIPTION Pair of vintage 1950s Drexel Touraine Nightstands. Drexel produced this stunning French Provincial furniture line in the 1950s and 1960s. Beautiful cream finish with gold accents. Still very popular and sought after today, very popular to refinish in newer, more trendy colors. Solid wood construction. Dovetail joints, everything you would expect from a higher-end furniture maker. The finish of these pieces are original. They are as found, I did not polish or clean either piece, the color is still beautiful, tho there is fine crazing, I've noted this in the photographs provided. The glass is included, one piece does have a chip in the back corner. One table has two hairlines, noted in the photos, they are not structural or overtly noticeable, look as if this was this way for many years only mentioned for accuracy. Other than ... morea few small areas(one inside the cubby for instance) these tables are nearly magnificent. Please enlarge all photos provided. Solid wood, and Burl Veneer, and they are in good original condition. These Nightstands/End Tables have unusual Brass/Brass-finish accents on the corners and on the tops, see pictures. These wonderful Nightstands/End Tables have a light/medium finish, and they have charming mid-century Hollywood Regency style designs. See pictures. These Nightstands/End Tables have doors on the bottoms that are working properly with Brass/Brass-finish handles. See pictures, and they have slide-out trays on the tops. The condition of these Nightstands/End Tables is secure and sturdy with some minor scratches/imperfections here and there proper to their age and as part of their wear and tear. See pictures. There are some minor scratches ... moreand aging imperfections on the tops and on the sides of the Nightstands. And there is some minor aging imperfections on the finish, see pictures.
