Up for auction is a pair of Heywood Wakefield Encore nightstands with the original champagne finish. Each one is about 24 1/2" tall. 20" across and 16 1/2" deep. For the most part they are in very good to good condition however they need some work. In particular both have scratches to there tops and one drawer had a chip out of the top back side which has been partially restored with a new piece of wood. I had intended on keeping these for myself however the shop I had lined up to refinish the tops closed down prior to getting the work done and as I understand the finish can be a bit difficult I have choose not to do the work myself and instead offer them for sale. I’m sure that in the right hands these can booth be restored to near perfect condition without that much work. HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD ENCORE Nightstand Night Stand Endtable End Table Mid century
This is a vintage Heywood Wakefield bedside table/nighstand/endtable. Part of the Encore line. It says"518" and stamped champagne on the back but it has been refinished to a darker color- a medium golden brown(see last pic for comparison to a heywood piece in original wheat color) The finish is decent on the outside but is a little sloppy underneath in the shelf area(where you can't see) and the inside of the drawer is painted. The top has 5 dark marks(burns? see pic) and what I think is a small water stain. There are a few minor scratches on the right side. The left side is clean. Not perfect. But very usable- nicer condition than many many pieces I have seen. Shelf is adjustable/removable. Solid wood, very heavy.

Heywood Wakefield NIGHTSTAND. ENCORE Line, Mid century hard to find piece to match your bedroom set. Excellent condition on this piece with finish wear. Structurally sound. Non smoking home. I took the photos without polishing it up so the finish condition would show in the photos. A little lemon oil polish would blend in most the flaws(maybe not on the top though) if you did not want to refinish it right away. The shelf is adjustable. Hole in back for cords. Inside drawer has a spot to clean up. Small enough to ship in a box. About 24.75" tall, 14.5" deep, 15" wide. Will ship for $75 insured. I have a 3 drawwr Encore chest to match in similar condition. But can not ship that piece, mention it in case buyer is picking up.

Vtg 1950's Heywood Wakefield Sculptura Night Stand Wheat nightstand
Listing is for a single 1950's Heywood Wakefield"Sculptura" line nightstand. Numbered 778. Measures approximately 20" wide, 16" deep, and 24" tall. Surface has some small surface rubs and scratches, light indentions/nicks, nothing deep. Top has a couple lighter areas, inner shelf has a lighter area that looks like a juice glass was left a little too long. The base is a little shaky, I guess after 50 years it needs new glue. I think this is easily in good+ acceptable condition and does not necessarily need to be refinished. Drawer slides in and out without sticking. No breaks or cracks. Listing is for a single(2 available. Pricing and shipping is per table) 1950's Heywood Wakefield"Harmonic" line nightstand/ lamp table(numbered 918) Harmonic was introduced n 1954. Both have water stains to the top's surface, with other areas that need refinishing. Measures approximately 20" wide, 18 1/8" deep, and 25 1/4" tall(table with metal studs on the bottom of the legs, one table does not have the metal studs, so is maybe an 1/8" shorter, see photo 6 and 7) The table with the stubs has ink stains inside the drawer, see last 2 photos. The same table has an inner board that is cracked, see 9th photo, I think this may be factory, as the table is solid, as is this break with no wobbling or movement what so ever.
