Hi, Thanks for looking! Up for sale is a vintage Dixie"Shangri La" nightstand or small dresser. It has been repainted a sage green and the top has been sealed with polycrylic for protection. This is a great example of classic Hollywood Regency furniture and the brass handles and corners are very reminiscent of the campaign furniture Dixie is so well known for. This dresser measures 24 inches wide by 16-1/2 inches deep by 23-3/4 inches tall. It weighs 51 pounds which is what you would expect from a quality piece of furniture like this. Check out my! DESCRIPTION Pair of vintage 1950s Drexel Touraine Nightstands. Drexel produced this stunning French Provincial furniture line in the 1950s and 1960s. Beautiful cream finish with gold accents. Still very popular and sought after today, very popular to refinish in newer, more trendy colors. Solid wood construction. Dovetail joints, everything you would expect from a higher-end furniture maker. The finish of these pieces are original. They are as found, I did not polish or clean either piece, the color is still beautiful, tho there is fine crazing, I've noted this in the photographs provided. The glass is included, one piece does have a chip in the back corner. One table has two hairlines, noted in the photos, they are not structural or overtly noticeable, look as if this was this way for many years only mentioned for accuracy. AMAZING Mid-Century Hollywood Regency Arthur Court Gilt Lily Side Table
I found this amazing. Fantastic, over-the-top Arthur Court 20" round 16" tall mid-century Hollywood a Regency side table at a very recent estate sale here in Austin, Texas. I did t know what it was when I found it. I only knew that it was wonderfully tacky-the kind of stuff I just die for-and I knew it had to be something special. When I got it home and started researching it, I discovered that it WAS something special. And I have found several similar ones out there online, a few on eBay, and a few on other,sites like 1stdibs.com and Kingslane.com. Prices ranged from $199(with 2 broken branches) to $1800. I don't expect to get $1800 for this one; I plan to price it right in the middle, with a best offer option to make it totally fair. And truth be told, if it doesn't sell, I wouldn't mind just hanging onto it for a ... morelittle while. It does have a few areas where the gilding is rubbed off, and the glass has a small ding and some scratches from age, but overall it,is in great vintage condition. Now there is something I must discuss. I am disabled and the 3-day shipping limit that eBay puts in their listing forms is not enough time for me. I have to have help getting my packages to the post office, as I use a cane or crutches to walk. That limits what I can carry. I am able to ship ONCE A WEEK, usually on Thursday. Welcome to Grandpa's Garage. Today you are bidding on a wonderful pair of Large vintage Hollywood Regency end tables by Drexel with glass top inlay. These table came out of Grandma's parlor and I love them. They do not fit my décor. They measure 29" long by 22 1/4" wide. The front measures 16 1/4" from floor to top of glass. The back measures 31 1/2" from floor to the peak. From the glass to the top of the shelf measures 9" The one table has a small chip in glass on the corner and can be seen in photo. The second table has a flaw/wear in the wood under the glass and can be seen in photo's. Otherwise they are used and will has small nicks and scratches. Overall great mid century end tables.
