I am not sure what type of wood this is and there are no makers’ marks. This belonged to my friend’s mother and he is not sure of the age. The table measures approximately 23 ½ inches tall at the back arch. It is 22 inches tall at the sides. It approximately 17 inches wide and 11 ½ inches deep. The legs measure approximately 15 ½ inches long. I do not see any cracks or breaks in the wood. But this does need to be refinished. There are scratches and small nicks. Up for auction is a very nice vintage mid century modern furniture nightstand end table in a clear to white laquer finish. This table is approximately 22 inches long. 21 inches high, and 14 inches deep. The color in the photographs is fairly accurate but maybe slightly lighter in person. There are a couple small chips off the veneer in a couple locations and a fresh coat of clear coat would make this extra nice, but it's not necessary. I took some low angle photos of the top so you can see the figured wood pattern as well as the condition of the finish. I am thrilled to present this near-perfect telephone stand. It is in its original gray painted finish with gray linoleum top. The cabinet is free of any dents or rust, and has only minor wear. There are a few ... morechips and scratches here and there; one is a more noticeable 1.5" scratch on the left side toward the back, and there is also a series of horizontal scratches on back(see photos) The linoleum top has some minor indentations(pictured) There is also a tiny serial number etched into the aluminum trim on top(also pictured) There is no key for the lock, but one could easily be made by taking the code etched into the top of the keyhole to a locksmith. The cabinet has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. And the exterior has been waxed to a glorious shine. The aluminum legs have also been thoroughly cleaned and polished. It measures 20" wide. 18" deep and 29" high. The top opening is 17.5" wide, 17.75" deep and 7.75" tall; the cabinet area is 17.5" wide, 16.5" deep and 12" tall. Vintage Drexel Fontanella Octagon End Table/ Night Stand Excellent Condition
This is a vintage Drexel End Table or Night Stand. It is in excellent condition and is sturdy and clean. You can see from the pictures that the condition is incredible. There is a small scratch on the top which I have shown in one of the pictures. I had to get the right angle to get it to show up because it is hard to see from other angles. The handle and hinges work great and it closes nicely. It is 21 inches tall by 21 1/2 inches across from corner to corner at the top. It is hard to believe because it looks taller than it is wide but those are the correct measurements. I believe the wood is Pecan because I have other Drexel pecan furniture and it looks just the same. I will delver to DC and surrounding area for an extra fee. Thanks for looking!
