This is a very rare Hobey& Helen Baker Original end table/side table/cabinet. It is such a beautiful piece though. It could be used in any room in the house. Hobey and Helen Baker were an aristocratic couple who designed furniture in New York. Hobey was named after his famous uncle who was a war hero and football legend, Hobey Baker; who was idolized by F. Scott Fitzgerald in This Side of Paradise. Their pieces of furniture are rare- with only one piece showing up at auction at Rago's several years back. The small cabinet measures 25.5" tall x 18" wide x 18" deep. It has 1 drawer and storage space beneath. It has some dull spots in the finish and scratches in the finish- not the furniture, just the finish. Vintage Mid Century Nightstand Vintage Pair Mid Century End Tables/Nightstands I picked up this Neat Pair Of Retro Nightstands at an estate sale outside of Dallas. Texas. These retro nightstands are in good sturdy condition and have brass lion head pulls. There are three drawers on each nightstand. One of the brass lion pulls is missing a ring as shown. I think I have a spare lying around somewhere and will try to find it. You can also get these on Ebay. Each nightstand measures 28 inches tall. 27 inches wide, and 15 inches deep. Item Description: Up for purchase is this PAIR of vintage late 60’s nightstands produced by the American manufacturer. Kent Coffey. The nightstands are overall in very good condition. However, don’t rule out their age, they show some very light age related wear as detailed in the photos, a few tiny dings& light scratches here and there, but overall in good useable condition. They are made of walnut& elm. And the tops of the nightstands are a vintage black formica which fools the viewer into thinking it is black stone. The formica tops is probably what has saved the top finish over all these years of life. Otherwise, they would most likely show more wear.
