It looks like a new piece of furniture except for two correctable problemss that you can find in the photos and I will do my best to describe. There is a mar on the top surface of the nightstand. Likely from a wet glass or cup. There is some slight roughness over the area of the mark but the wood itself is not raised and does not feel swollen or waterlogged. It could be covered by a table scarf or likely repaired fairly easily. On the front of the bottom drawer, there are two small chips of brown paint missing inside the metal drawer pull. This can be corrected with matching oil paint. Near the left edge, centerish, there's a small cluster of scratches(within a 1" square area) I didn't attempt to repair or remedy this flaw- I don't really think it's detractive(photo) 2) minor, superificial scratches and edge wear; 3) the smallest veneer chip along the bottom of one drawer, near center; and(4) this isn't necessarily a flaw, but a prior owner lined the bottom of the drawers with an atomic starburst paper(it's adhered) it's imperfect but charming and seems appropriate to the piece(I'm sure it could be removed with modest effort) Overall. Vintage Mid-Century Modern Nightstand Table - 2 Drawer - Harmony House ??
Offered is a nice Vintage Mid-Century 2 drawer nightstand table which also would be a wonderful side or end table for any mid-century or Danish modern style décor. The piece is all wood and most likely various types but I am uncertain of the types. A lot of walnut was used in this era of furniture. This piece has had a refinish done and is in darker wood tone colors. It measures 24.5" tall, 22" wide and 17" in depth. The top drawer is 5"deep and the bottom one is 6.5" deep. Overall its in very nice condition. There are no markings that I can find but found others on Ebay that were listed as Harmony House so although I cant be positive its a good possibility. A very attractive piece, with dovetailed wood drawers, and solid teak legs that screw off for easy and safe transport or storage. It is stamped by the manufacturer on the back.
