It looks like a repair was done to end of 1 of the legs(split to wood visible) but doesn’t detract(see pic) I did use some Howard’s wood conditioner to bring back the wood of this piece prior to photographing. This is a genuine vintage item or set. They may not be 100% perfect. Which is what adds to their charm& character. Vintage Mersman Mahogany Colonial Revival"Surf Board" Table#6326 w/Inlays This is a Wonderful Vintage Mersman Mahogany finish"Surf Board" table with beautiful inlay design work. Acquired from an elderly estate in overall very good condition with normal signs of use/wear for it's age ie. Minor scuffs/dings on legs etc. see pics) The table is nice and solid with no looseness at all. However. There are a couple of areas I will mention, the upper surf board edge has a small area at the back of the table where the ends do not completely meet(see picture) this looks to be the way it was designed/manufactured, there is some residual white marks which appear to be from where it was against a white wall, as a note, they might just clean off, but I will leave that to the new owner) Also, on the underside of the bottom shelf ... morethere is one screw missing from the eye-hook support.see pic) Does not seem to have any effect on the stability of the table at all. Beautiful Mersman table in fantastic condition. Made in the 60's to reflect the past Formica wood grain top in flawless condition. Base is real wood with metal claw feet Looks like it had been covered up for most of it's life with granny cloth lace top One of the dowels a little loose where the dowl goes into the base. Pair 1960's Vtg MCM Mersman Floating Step Side Lounge Sofa Table Danish Retro
This is a very beautiful pair of matching Mersman suspended step tables in excellent condition. The lower rear section is suspended entirely from the top section by solid birch wood supports. Which is unusual and makes for a nice floating design element. They are large measuring 24" tall, 19 1/2" wide and 32" long. So they would be right at home with a wide couch or lounge chair. They are in excellent condition with no chips in the laminated top. The brass tipped legs have some wear to the black finish which has been touched up in places. They will be dissembled for shipping, just 8 screws per table to reassemble. Thank you!

Color matched Mersman Guitar Pick step end lamp tables Mid Century Danish Modern
This is the latest project with my 86 year old Dad. I found these two tables at a vintage store next to each other and decided to take them home. We thought the tops would be glorious in a Yellow Squash semi-gloss paint by Better Homes& Garden. So we sanded. Primed/sealed the tops and applied three coats of the finish with steel wool between coats. We are super excited about the end product and hope you are too. One table is a signed Mersman guitar pick end or lamp table. The legs are a triangle base with tapered Danish Modern peg legs. The top is 24" in diameter(roughly) and the table height is 22" The step end table is unsigned but the leg color and shape was a good match with the Mesrman. The second tier of the table is at the same height as the Mersman(22"H) My inspiration for this pair came from a cute boutique hotel ... morein Washington DC. The night stands at this posh hotel were mismatched by shape but not by color. I loved the idea and decided these end tables were the ones for experimenting. Let me know what you think! I did some research and found out it is Duncan Phyfe style& on another web site they said it was the 1920's. There is beautiful detail all over. The wood has beautiful grain& is a redish/brown color. The tables I found like this all say Mahogany. These are getting harder to come by in such good condition. It's level. Has no warpage, has some marks/scratches relative to age. Has the brass cap feet on the legs that look like toes or claws. All spindles of the harp are there& secure. Normal useage marks on inside of drawer& has origanal pull. Is stamped Mersman on inside of drawer& on the bottom and is# 7211. Inside of drawer measures 16 3/4" in length at the center longest part X ... more15 1/8" wide, and is 2 1/4" deep. Vintage Mid Century Danish Modern Mersman Coffee Table - Tapered Legs - Retro
Here's a gorgeous Danish Modern Coffee table I found at an Estate sale. I was a bit confused because it had long legs and was being used as a console table behind a sofa. It did however cone with a set of shorter legs. The shorter legs turned out to be the originals. So I removed the long legs, restored the original length legs and voila! Back to its original beautiful self! It has clean lines for a nice danish modern appeal. The top is a dark laminate and is in fantastic condition. There are some dings to the edges(wood) but nothing really bad. Please see pics and condition notes above. Hardwood tapered legs will be removed for easy and safety in shipping. Very Rare.model 7337 Mersman end table.with two shelves beneath.haven't seen one like this.this item does need refinishing.as shown.worn stain on the top.stain is slightly worn on sides.no major scratches.though.just a lot of use.part of a estate.I have not seen another like this one with the double shelving on the bottom.unique.if the shipping would be less than quoted.
