Up for bid is a antique Hekman cordial table. End table, nightstand, not sure as I'm not a expert and couldn't find out much about this. There is nothing to compare it to on ebay as for as age and name on the bottom and number. It reads Hekman Furniture Co. Grand Rapids Mich. 117, it has roses and leaves hand painted on top corners. This table is in pretty good condition. Normal wear for age, some scratches, and distressed areas and loss of color. But worthy of some TLC or restoration I think, but like I said I'm no expert. Also one of the feet has screws in it, Look at the pictures and ask questions if needed and if anyone has one of these or knows about it I would be interested. It would date back to the late 1800's and this stately piece is unusual because it steps back with a nice ledge and has 3 drawers. the surface is old white paint with the doors shabby craped down to the older green color. It really has a great LOOK! I like it with the doors open for displaying my collectibles. It is 77.5" tall x 50" wide at that middle shelf. I just purchased this cupboard from a country store auction in Cherry Valley NY which is where it was made over 100 years ago. The store had been closed for over 30 years and was part of the Historical Society in the town of Cherry Valley NY This has old white paint on the outside and inside the doors are gray. It is shabby on the inside with remnants of wallpaper lining the back and sides but not the shelves. Great 2 panel door a latch on the inside to lock and a porcelain knob. This has a(for lack of better words) molding around it because it was a built in cabinet but this could be attached to a wall(the way I found it there are holes in the back panels) or even put on top of a low cabinet. This is very pretty set of 6 old drawer pulls. These antique pulls are solid brass and about 4 inches long. They have been cast into an ornate design with lots of interesting detail. At some point in time they were painted a nice cottage green. Some of that paint has worn off. Letting the brass underneath show through. They will look terrific on an antique piece of furniture or with the woodwork in your old house. The open design doesn't cover the wood underneath the pulls.

This is a wonderful decorative piece. The ray itself has been restored. It is over 100 years old. I commisioned the Artist to do the painting in 2000. This is water resistant on the surface since restoration so it can be used, not just for show. The artist is a local NY artist out of Rochester and has a heavy following. She is mostly known for paintings on furniture and items like this. It is a beautiful tray and great colorful painting. On the sides of the tray are markings that read"General Radio CO" I am not sure if this was added at a later point but it appears to be a stamp or stencil that was on the tray when i purchased it.

An early painted primitive wood foot stool. Possibly child's foot stool with much age. It measures 7 1/2" high by 6 1/2" wide by 9 1/4" long. The paint texture and patina is really special, you can't reproduce this finish without many years of natural aging. One leg is a very old repair making for a very quirky and adorable piece of OLD American furniture. A square-head nail can be seen on the underside.
