She painted it green(ARGH!I’ve never stopped giving her grief about it:^) I stripped/refinished it back in the 70s, and it’s been in constant use since then. It’s in overall GORGEOUS condition. No damage anywhere EXCEPT on the top where my sister placed a plant without protection(another ARGH! The spot is very slightly warped…I’m 99.9% sure that it could be sanded out, but I chose to leave it(didn’t want to mess with the aged finish) Otherwise, other than a bit of green paint remnants here and there(nothing obvious) it’s in fantastic condition. No wobbles…firmly seated. Dovetailed drawers are all solid/function perfectly. All are unlined except for one of the small center ... moredrawers…it had been lined in(worn) red felt for years; I recently replaced the felt. Perfectly functioning side cupboards. Antique 1940s JOHN STUART mahogany highboy dresser chest
You're bidding on a nice JOHN STUART antique mahogany dresser/ chest/ vanity. Circa 1940's. Has GENUINE MAHOGANY numbered sticker. See labels. Finely crafted inlay designs along the sides. HIGHBOY. Bow Front, splayed legs, oval brass handles. 54" high x 35" wide x 20" deep Has some minor knicks and scratches. Real Vintage Golden OAK Highboy Dresser w/ Wooden Carved FLOWER Knobs Pretty!!
Offered is a vintage highboy dresser featuring carved flower knobs! It has 10 drawers which are all dovetail construction, and two drawers have locks. But when I bought the piece 8 years ago from a private seller in Illinois. They did not have the keys, or any other information about it. It is heavy and sturdy. with no significant scratches. The largest dimensions are 56 inches tall(including both parts) 35 inches wide 20.5 inches deep Manufacturer and specific age unknown. Manufacturer numbers on upper piece is 1234 1/2 and numbers on main piece is 1264. The top piece just sets on top of the main piece making it much easier to move such a heavy dresser. The age I am guessing anywhere between 1900-early 1950s. I re-decorated my master bedroom into a mid-century modern theme and my other rooms do not need a dresser. Fine antique oak highboy dresser chest of drawers ca. 1900
Lovely old antique solid oak highboy dresser from the turn of the century. It is 48.5 x 44 x 19.5" Very nice condition with a beautiful original mellow patina. There are a couple of discoloration spots on top and at the top of the backsplash the wood is chipped. It can only be seen from the back. Otherwise excellent shape. All the drawers are dovetailed and open and close smoothly. Free pickup is always welcome. Buyer must arrange shipping. We have a local company that is very reasonable. UP FOR AUCTION Very Nice High Boy Dresser made of Oak. I do not believe hardware is original! Great shape dresser with both dovetailed front and back of drawers.Serpentine front, Claw feet and wooden casters. There is a small character flaw on bottom drawer that I think was a burn mark but not sure. Has nice cubby with Ornate carved door that has curved shape. The wooden back and top also are both in excellent shape! Is old and may have some scratches and flaws but overall is very nice and was refinished well. Casters all work good and easy! Antique 1946 Matching Highboy - 6 Draws & Dresser - 5 Draws w/ Mirror on Wheels
These belong to my husband's grandparents. The matching set solid wood high boy and dresser has been used. The High Boy is in much better condition the the dresser. All the drawers work and the suspended mirror works as well. Forgive my husband for just holding up the mirror and not assembling the mirror on the dresser. The top of the dresser does need refurbishing. The wood casters are a collection in themselves. The High Boy does not have the 4 casters on. They are in the draw. All the original draw pulls work. This is a Lachman Bros. french provential style highboy dresser. The over all condition of the dresser is good. However there are signs of wear. There are some edges that are chipped and on the top of the dresser are faint cup rings. Other then that the dresser is clean and in good shape and is a very nice piece.

NICE Solid Mahogany Dresser & Highboy Chest Beautifull Carved Fluted Columns NR
This is a super nice antique vintage dresser& highboy. This is made from solid mahogany wood and very solid and strong with no loose joints. All the drawers are dovetailed and made from solid wood. These both include all the original decorative brass drawer pulls and keyholes along with super nice carved top fluted columns. Dresser has 4 drawers and Highboy has 5 drawers. Dresser measures 36 3/4" tall. 45" wide and 20 3/4" deep. Dresser is also marked on back No. 310. Highboy is 51 1/4" tall, 36" wide and 20 3/4" deep. These are both in beautiful condition with original patina with only very light scratches and rubs from age and use. There is a small spot on the bottom edge of the side of dresser where a small chip of wood is missing shown in pictures and also a spot on side of chest where it appears someone ... moretried to rub the finish a bit. Im sure this is an easy fix but I will leave that to the new owner or professional. As always I sell all my items as is so please ask any and all questions before bidding.
