This tile has a large image filling the whole surface areas with large pink flowers and attractive associated foliage. The tile measures 6 inches square. Here's a rare and Original antique Spanish border tile. Circa early 1 9 00's. With a very unusual design, tile is in very good cond ition. Nice smooth glazing, back of the tile has been cleaned. And there are the following marks"AGUILER" It measures 20 cm x 10 cm( 8 by 4" square) And quite heavy. I always t ry my best to combine shipping charges. The tile has a piece of tape on the back stating American Maker Unknown, probably about 1940's. The word STANDARD(question the S) is raised on the back of the tile. Size: 4 1/4" by 4 1/4" 5/16" Thick Condition: Good- There are no cracks or repairs to the tiles front surfaces. I see a nip to the rim. Top left corner, wear and minor losses to the raised inner border surrounding the tea pot and some losses to the raised outline of the tea pot itself. Six (6) Vintage HR Johnson Round Tiles Trivets England - 3.5" - Fair/Good H & R
Please read through for condition issues– they aren’t perfect. Six(6) Vintage H&R Johnson Round Tile Trivets. The each measure approx. 3 ½” in diameter. There are three(3) of each style. The base color is white. And they are decorated orange and green. They are all marked. CONDITION: They appear to have been previously mounted. There is either an adhesive or varnish/shellac residue on the back of each piece which has browned(or started off brown) Green border tiles: o 1) has a small chip on the bottom edge which is slightly visible from a side view. It also has a very small flea bite nick on the bottom edge which is hardly visible(see pics) o 2) has a chip which is visible from a side view. I also felt one small flea bite nick(see pics) from this flea bite there is a hairline crack which has caused some chip loss to the painted area ... moreon the top(see pic) If this were a single tile I wouldn’t list it. But since it is a part of matched set, you may want it regardless. When looking at the main picture. It’s in the bottom left tile(about 5 o’clock) o 3) no found chips. Nicks or flea bites. Orange border tiles: o 1) has a small chip which is slightly visible from the side. I also found two flea bite nicks(see pic) o 2& 3) no found chips. Nicks or flea bites. I have made no attempts to chemically remove the residue on the back. They were only hand washed in warm. Sudsy water and not soaked. I did not want to jeopardize their integrity. Vintage Turkish Tiles Tree of Life, Animals in Mural Wood Bound 20" x 20"
Here is a beautiful tile mural from the mideast with beautiful colors and images. I believe they are older tiles. Maybe from the middle of the last century or so. The reason I say that is because there are signs of wear on the edges. I would personally rather see that as I love old tiles, but we are all different. I have pictured one nick on the top front that could easily be covered over, but for the sake of honesty, I am leaving it that way for the moment. You could fill it in with a touch of caulk and be done with it. The colors are vibrant, oranges, blues, yellows, greens, browns, cream. You can almost feel the designs are the glazes are thick and raised up slightly. There are four colorful animals under the tree. The brown one has white on it- maybe part of the design, maybe some glaze missing. There are nine 6" x 6" tiles ... morein this mosaic and it is framed in dark wood. The measurement of the entire piece framed is 20" x 20. It has a wire for hanging. It is quite heavy and shipping will be high as the weight and the fact it will need an oversized box add up. Please ask if you have any questions about this mural. It's a beautiful vintage piece, not all slick like the new ones- it does show signs of use. I like it that way, maybe you will, too.

I have for sale a complete set of"The United States Encaustic Tile Co" of Indianapolas Indiana fireplace surround circa 1880. Each tile is 6"x 6" and there is 17 total. There are nesting birds on each side and across the top. There are 2 figures in each corner. One of a man and one of a woman. The bottom tile on the left is missing a corner. I also have floor tile included. Most of the mortar is of the back but there is still some on a few pcs. Antique Vintage Mosaic Tile Company Blue Ceramic Wall Heater 1920's
This electric wall heater was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's. I'm not sure if it was working when removed. Since the power was already cut to the house. It appears that th e small filaments are broken that run through the ceramic. So I'm thinking that it would need to be repaired to actually be used a s a hea ter again. However. I have seen folks take out the heat ing element and make a recessed magazine holder out of them. There is a metal grate that fits into the openings o f these units. And it is missing on this one. The cover is made of 2 large tiles that fit tog ether. And they are in great shape with no cracks and just a few tiny chips near one of the mounting holes. There is just some discoloration from where the wire grate sat. And there is also some color variation in the glaze. These'MTC' pieces ... moreof that time had a bit of variation in the color which makes for a hand-glazed look. The f inish is matte. The chrome around the control knob is rusty. Fleur de Lis in the center and on the corners with crackle crazed pattern. The back is fully marked with all of this information. The tile has been used and there is some grout on the recesses at the corners and some grout on one side. Tiny tiny chip on the bottom edge on the side with the grout residue. Also a tiny tiny chip on the top right corner edge. The bottom corners and edges are slightly rough. The chips are hard to see and do not distract from the appearance. No damage, cracks, or crazing, and no stains or film. Measures 6 inches square by 5/8 inches thick. This is a relist ... moreand the last time the tile will be listed. Vintage 24kt SOLID GOLD Mosaic Italian Tiles Elle Decor 24k yellow
Vintage 24kt Solid Gold Mosaic tiles discovered in Hawaii. Lovely Mosaic Tiles confirmed tested 24KT Solid Gold on one side. Fused to crystal on the other side, hand cut into aprox 3/4" squares. The old boxes say"Made in Italy" A local Maui tile contractor remembers installing them. He states that they are vintage circa 1991. Overstock from the construction of the Grand Wailea Hotel in Maui. A Japanese business man spent over 900 million to build the most incredible hotel on Maui. They were used to decorate the main swimming pool. They were hand set in a Greek Key pattern. Elle Decor Magazine recently featured a custom home in Italy in which these gold tiles were photographed as one of the highlights. Due to the high cost of 24kt gold and the cost to hand cut. They are no longer manufactured. I have at least 170 Linear Feet ... moreof these 24kt solid gold tiles available for that unique and upscale installation. Estimated to cost is over 20.00 per tile if available for purchase in todays market. We are selling them per tile. The way they were set at the Grand Wailea is as follows: Each tile was set with the 24k gold side down in morter. They left a small space between each one to allow for the variance in thickness. Which is a slight + or- from the average thickness of 3/16" The crystal side up added more luminesence to the installtion. In my opinion, I think that they could be set without grout, as the morter could allow to make up the small differences in the tile thickness. It is however alot easier to set with a tiny grout line perhaps as small as 1/16" Also. I think they could be set with the gold side up as the gold has been fused to the crystal, But. In my opinion, they look better with the gold side down. Pair of Vintage Blue Rose Floral Tiles with White Scrollwork *EUC
Set of 2 Vintage Blue Rose Floral Tiles with White Scrollwork These are beautiful feminine tiles featuring blue roses and soft purple flowers. The background on each tile is an antique creamy off-white and has delicate white scrollwork surrounding the oval lace design which showcases these flowers. These are original pieces and they have not been repaired or painted. I am not sure of the age of these pieces however I know they have been around for at least 20 years! They have a high-gloss glaze protecting the artwork. They would look beautiful displayed just as they are on a Shabby Cottage Chic shelf or utilized as inserts for craft projects and can certainly be used as wall tiles or trivets. Each tile measures 8" in height x 4" wide x 1/4" thick. The ceramic/porcelain tile insert is hallmarked only by numbers#2 and#5. They ... moreweigh just over 1 lb together(packaging weight not included) The only flaw I see at all is that one corner has a very small chip and is not a perfect 90 degree angle. Please view photos closely to see this very small chip which would be covered with grout if utilized for a wall application. Beautiful Antique Pressed Majolica Art Nouveau Tile Vintage #308
Beautiful antique Presse d Majolica Art Nouveau tile. Circa early 1 9 00's. In a very bright caramel color, tile is in very good cond ition with only a minor chip on one of the corners. Very thick glazing with beautiful crazing from age, there are some little air bubbles in the glazing formed during the baking process. Back of the tile has been cleaned, and there are the following marks"Sacavem" It measures 16 cm x 16 cm(6 1/4" square) I always t ry my best to combine shipping charges.
