Reclaimed early 20th C Vintage 6" Dutch Blue& White pattern tiles. Delft style These tiles were reclaimed from a Dutch building in the early 1960's. They are printed. Blue and white pattern, off white background, measure 150mm square and are 9mm thick(6" x 3/8" The backs are machine marked and are stamped with the capital' H' This probably means they are no older than circa 1890/1900. All are complete i.e no corners missing etc. There are small amounts of grout to some of the edges which depending on future use will need to cleaned and some very small chips to some of the edges. This tile was made by the Richards tile Co. Tunstall, Stoke on Trent. It has a design which copies the traditional Delft style. The tile is 6 inches square and in good condition. The back of the tile is shown in picture#2.

Blue and white transfer printed, Delft/ Chinoiserie style decorative tile by Mintons China Works of Stoke on Trent. Staffordshire, England c1890's The tile has a blue and white scene depicting a Chinese Pagoda/ Temple scene. The verso has Mintons China Works Stoke on Trent England embossed. Size: The tile is 6" x 6" in size and has a depth of 9mm approx Condition: There are some chips on the edge of the tile. Shown in photo below. There are a couple of other small and very small chips on the tile edges in places. There are some marks and staining ... moreto the tiles. See photo below for an example. The tile does have some light crazing. Mainly to the central area. Weight: Weight of item without packaging 343.9g Item will be well packed for dispatch. I do try to keep postal costs to a minimum. Beautiful Delftware Old decorative tile Delft Style dog #460
