I was planning on using these on my front porch but went with a totally different design scheme. Here you have six corbels that were handmade and found at an estate sale. They are made of wood. A soft wood, not sure what kind. They would need a good coating of stain/primer and painted. or leave unfinished. I really love the design on these, a really nice pattern. It would look great for shelving but would need some material to fatten them up a little. Size are all the same and pattern is the same. long 16 inches and 3/8th tall 10 inches depth 1/2 inch thick shipping is going to be 20$ flat fee shipping US only. FOUR HUGE SOLID BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD CORBELS SHELF BRACKETS MID CENTURY DANISH
These are really great pieces. They are hand carved solid Brazilian rosewood and are from the early 1900s. Some misguided person painted them white at some point and they have been partially stripped but need finishing. They are fifteen inches long by a inch and five eights thick. The flat base is four inches and the wool is solid. The wood in these is amazing, it has lots of figure and a beautiful color, in the pictures two appear darker because they have a light oil on them but when they are cleaned up they will all be the same color. Solid old growth Brazilian(especially this old) is very hard to come by these days and these are just beautiful pieces.

Graceful lines. Flowers and swans adorn these mid-19 th century corbel shelves. We think they are plaster. But they could be chalk. They are very nicely carved, very heavy, and very dirty. The shelves are about 7.5" high. 7.75" wide, and 4.5" deep. There is a hanging hook on the back of each one. They are in very good vintage condition. One of them had a little red something on it. We rubbed it very lightly with a wet towel, and most of it came off, so we think it will clean completely. Very nice brackets. 1-1/4 wide not including raised areas. 22-18 tall and 8 deep at bigger end 4-1/2 at smaller but it grows to about 5-3/4 if you include the radius that juts out at small end. Great for your next project. Finish isn't perfect but most is present and with a little work these will come up nicely without having to loose its original color.
