Offer is for a pair of plaster tiles with the cutest trio of baby faces. They are roughly repaired from breaks on both pieces. But they can be rejuvenated into a much better condition. Each tile(or plaque) has 2 round wire hangers on the back so that these tiles can be mounted on the wall. Both are smooth finished on the front. And one has a varnish-like finish that is shiny. They measure 11-3/4” long x 5-1/4” wide. They measure about 1-1/4” thick at the babys’ foreheads. These are old. But I can’t tell you how old. Antique Villeroy & Boch Mettlach Art Deco Floor Medallion 4 Tiles 13" Square
For your consideration is this group of 4 art deco floor tiles by Villeroy and Boch with a total of 7 groups available. Each of the 4 tiles measure 6 5/8" square. Making a medallion that measures about 13 1/4" and are about 5/8" thick. They were likely floor tile and I would guess date to the first quarter of the 20th century. When placed together 4 tiles form an intricate, colorful medallion with a bold geometric design. Each tile is signed but alot of them have just enough mortar residue to fill in most of the signature. They are very nice but they are used, salvaged from a building and stashed in the St. Louis area. Virtually every tile will have some very minor edge chips, some color variation and varying degrees of mortar and grout residue. Nothing that detracts from the strong graphics of these unusual tiles. Here's a matched set of three Art Nouveau tiles that appear to be tube lined. Maker and origin unknown. The tiles are lovely, in overall excellent condition except for very minor edge fleabites and minimal crazing. These Nouveau tiles were never used or exposed to environmental conditions. They were likely manufactured in the early 1900s and may reflect an Arts and Crafts stylized tulip theme. The tiles are marked but the mark is unknown to the seller. It's depicted. The tiles measure 6 x 6 inches. The beet color background is deep. Of two tones while the golden tulip or poppy has three golden tones. The pictures do the rich, deep bold colors justice with exception to the background- the light reflects off the lighter of the two background colors. Please read through for condition issues– they aren’t perfect. Six(6) Vintage H&R Johnson Round Tile Trivets. The each measure approx. 3 ½” in diameter. There are three(3) of each style. The base color is white. And they are decorated orange and green. They are all marked. CONDITION: They appear to have been previously mounted. There is either an adhesive or varnish/shellac residue on the back of each piece which has browned(or started off brown) Green border tiles: o 1) has a small chip on the bottom edge which is slightly visible from a side view. It also has a very small flea bite nick on the bottom edge which is hardly visible(see pics) o 2) has a chip which is visible from a side view. I also felt one small flea bite nick(see pics) from this flea bite there is a hairline crack which has caused some chip loss to the painted area ... moreon the top(see pic) If this were a single tile I wouldn’t list it. But since it is a part of matched set, you may want it regardless. When looking at the main picture. It’s in the bottom left tile(about 5 o’clock) o 3) no found chips. Nicks or flea bites. Orange border tiles: o 1) has a small chip which is slightly visible from the side. I also found two flea bite nicks(see pic) o 2& 3) no found chips. Nicks or flea bites. I have made no attempts to chemically remove the residue on the back. They were only hand washed in warm. Sudsy water and not soaked. I did not want to jeopardize their integrity. No.13 A wonderful pair of forest green glazed ceramic tiles with a center rosette and small fluer de lis motifs. A prevalent Victorian pattern seen in England and America during the 1870's. Vintage Turkish Tiles Tree of Life, Animals in Mural Wood Bound 20" x 20"
Here is a beautiful tile mural from the mideast with beautiful colors and images. I believe they are older tiles. Maybe from the middle of the last century or so. The reason I say that is because there are signs of wear on the edges. I would personally rather see that as I love old tiles, but we are all different. I have pictured one nick on the top front that could easily be covered over, but for the sake of honesty, I am leaving it that way for the moment. You could fill it in with a touch of caulk and be done with it. The colors are vibrant, oranges, blues, yellows, greens, browns, cream. You can almost feel the designs are the glazes are thick and raised up slightly. There are four colorful animals under the tree. The brown one has white on it- maybe part of the design, maybe some glaze missing. There are nine 6" x 6" tiles ... morein this mosaic and it is framed in dark wood. The measurement of the entire piece framed is 20" x 20. It has a wire for hanging. It is quite heavy and shipping will be high as the weight and the fact it will need an oversized box add up. Please ask if you have any questions about this mural. It's a beautiful vintage piece, not all slick like the new ones- it does show signs of use. I like it that way, maybe you will, too.

Three 18th Century Biblical English Delftware Tiles
Three 18th Century Biblical English Delftware Tiles Description Antique English Delftware Tiles from about 1730 and hand painted in manganese purple. The scene on these tin glazed tiles depicts Jesus carrying the Cross. An Angel with Roman and a person being served at a table I have not seen many of these types of designs around for sale. All the tiles have some damage(see below) All are 5” Tiles. The backs have plaster from a wall attached. The four outer corner motifs are early delicate variants of the oxhead motif and help date this tile to the 1690 to 1750 period. Biblical tiles from the late 1600s up to the mid-1700s are typical manganese purple and include many different Christian events and scenes. Vintage 24kt SOLID GOLD Mosaic Italian Tiles Elle Decor 24k yellow
Vintage 24kt Solid Gold Mosaic tiles discovered in Hawaii. Lovely Mosaic Tiles confirmed tested 24KT Solid Gold on one side. Fused to crystal on the other side, hand cut into aprox 3/4" squares. The old boxes say"Made in Italy" A local Maui tile contractor remembers installing them. He states that they are vintage circa 1991. Overstock from the construction of the Grand Wailea Hotel in Maui. A Japanese business man spent over 900 million to build the most incredible hotel on Maui. They were used to decorate the main swimming pool. They were hand set in a Greek Key pattern. Elle Decor Magazine recently featured a custom home in Italy in which these gold tiles were photographed as one of the highlights. Due to the high cost of 24kt gold and the cost to hand cut. They are no longer manufactured. I have at least 170 Linear Feet ... moreof these 24kt solid gold tiles available for that unique and upscale installation. Estimated to cost is over 20.00 per tile if available for purchase in todays market. We are selling them per tile. The way they were set at the Grand Wailea is as follows: Each tile was set with the 24k gold side down in morter. They left a small space between each one to allow for the variance in thickness. Which is a slight + or- from the average thickness of 3/16" The crystal side up added more luminesence to the installtion. In my opinion, I think that they could be set without grout, as the morter could allow to make up the small differences in the tile thickness. It is however alot easier to set with a tiny grout line perhaps as small as 1/16" Also. I think they could be set with the gold side up as the gold has been fused to the crystal, But. In my opinion, they look better with the gold side down. Set of 2 Vintage Blue Rose Floral Tiles with White Scrollwork These are beautiful feminine tiles featuring blue roses and soft purple flowers. The background on each tile is an antique creamy off-white and has delicate white scrollwork surrounding the oval lace design which showcases these flowers. These are original pieces and they have not been repaired or painted. I am not sure of the age of these pieces however I know they have been around for at least 20 years! They have a high-gloss glaze protecting the artwork. They would look beautiful displayed just as they are on a Shabby Cottage Chic shelf or utilized as inserts for craft projects and can certainly be used as wall tiles or trivets. Blue and white pattern, off white background, measure 150mm square and are 9mm thick(6" x 3/8" The backs are machine marked and are stamped with the capital' H' This probably means they are no older than circa 1890/1900. All are complete i.e no corners missing etc. There are small amounts of grout to some of the edges which depending on future use will need to cleaned and some very small chips to some of the edges. We are pleased to present a set of four souvenir tiles of Boston area sites. Included in this lot are the old North Church. The Old State House, Paul Revere’s House and The Wayside Inn of Sudbury. These tiles are hand decorated by Sceencraft, West Yarmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Each tile is 6” square and are in good condition with minute chips in the corners on two of them. And 1 6" diameter round decorative plate. My Mom probably picked these up in Holland in the 80's when she went to visit my brother. She hung them on the wall in her dining room and probably never used them as trivets. They are in good condition. But have some fading due to age. Lot of 9 Vintage Glass Prism Tiles. Very Good Condition. Pale Yellow Color 4"x4" Sale is for a lot containing 9 Vintage Glass Prism Tiles. These were removed from the basement alley windows of an old General Store built around 1900. Originally they came in a copper and lead frame and were removed so the copper could be recycled( not by me) They are in great condition with some bubbles. And a slightly wavy texture front and back. The prisms are nice and sharp but may have the odd very small chip in them. They also have a bevel all the way around were they fit into the old 1/4" frame and this makes the edges a little rough on some of them. Measurements are +- 4-1/4" x 4-3/16" x 1/4" to top of prisms. Prisms themselves are about 1/6" high. The color is a pale yellow which is I guess indicative of the type of ... moreglass they were made from. I've tried to take picture to give a sense of the color but of course your light might be slightly different then mine and taking a decent picture of glass was harder then I thought. There is no manufacturers name or stamp on them. Pictures are representative of all for sale. Please review all pictures for more information on condition and contents.
