Antique Delftware blue tile. Depicting a very strange creature, looks like a jumping camel with tv antenas, circa 19 4 0's. In Good condition, small chip at the right edge, beauti ful age crazing. This tile was made in Portugal and it's marked"Monsanto CCCL Lisboa" It measures 1 5 cm x 1 5 cm( 6" square) I always try my best to combine shipping charges. ANTIQUE DELFT CASTLE TILE For sale is one beautiful Dutch Delft tile decorated with a house. Well and ships in the background. The tile is framed with a newer Dutch oak tile frame. As often occurs with these tiles, there are some chips, and dings mostly covered by the frame. Noticeable outside the frame is one chip on the side and a one on the top. There is no maker's mark. The tile measures approximately 5" X 5" and the frame dimensions are 6 1/2" X 6 1/2" I am also selling a similar tile from the same time period under a different listing. Measurements: Tile is approximately 5" X 5" and outer frame dimensions of frame are 6 1/2" X 6 1/2" Age: Based on my research. I believe the tile dates sometime between 1690-1790. It is believed to be Bristol Delft and depicts a vase of Flowers flanked by two birds looking inwards. The design of the corners are distinctive. Unfortunately there is some damage around the edges and mainly at the top where there are chips from the left hand side along to the right hand corner where there is a nibble out of the corner. No cracks, no restorations this tile has been used and therefore has very slight damages on the sides. Typically with a painted design covering only one(rather small) blue and white tile, were ubiquitous in Holland and widely exported over Northern Europe from the 16th century on, replacing many local industries. Hereford. marked to reverse) Date: February 1933. marked to reverse) Provenance: from a large slabbed fireplace from a recently demolished house in Bournmouth. COLOURFUL GILLIOT (HEMIXEM) `EXOTIC BIRD` DELFT STYLE TILE
This is a 20th century tile made in Belgium by Gilliot. Hemixem. It shows a typical Delft design of an exotic bird and foliage and leaf corner motifs. The tile is 6 inches square and 0.25 inches thick. It is in good condition. The back of the tile is shown in picture#2.

Antique Delft Pottery Tile Wagon Water Trees Landscape People Scene
This is a great vintage Delft tile. Made in Holland. The ceramic tile is made by Steuler/ W. Germany. There is a small nick in the right bottom corner you can see it in the picture. More of a manufactor defect. Rather than a chip, I think. Measures: 6 inches square. No Returns.

Fine decorative tile in the Delft style featuring a Dutch girl with basket in under a sun and clouds. Tile blank is marked Wheeling CE‘61 and is artist marked with a leaf and the date 1962. Laid into original decorative metal frame. Tile measures 3 inches square and frame measures 4 ½ inches square. Tile is in excellent condition.
