This is a lot of 2 Louisiana parish soil maps for Tangipahoa Parish and East Baton Rouge Parish. 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false This lot contains two normal soil maps. The maps are dated 1904 and 1905. But this may be the original year the maps were projected and designed rather than the actual year of production. Each map came folded in a rectangular shape about 9 x 5 inches. Which is how you will receive them. You can use that to multiply the rectangular segments on each pictured map if you require full dimensions. These maps cam from a University set that I bought as a local auction lot. General disclaimer: I am listing around 180 soil maps from all around the US. There is wear. Tears and sometimes water damage on some of these maps. Most of these issues are visible in the pictures or ... morenoted in this description if present on a map. However, some of these are in pristine condition. Here's an early New York census map for the year 1910. This folded pamphlet map is described on the cover as: 1910 Census- Hammond's Complete Map of New York- Showing Electric and Steam Railroads. Steamboat Lines, Counties and all Cities, Towns and Villages- Together with a new Postal and Shipping Guide giving in detail Railroads and the Express Company doing business over each road, Rural Free Delivery Points, Nearest Mailing Point for all places not now Post Offices and the 1910 Census Figures- Also a new Hotel Directory with Rates, etc. Published by C.S. Hammond& Company, 30 Church Street, New York. Original cost was 15 cents. This colored map is folded into a pamphlet with cardboard covers. Folded, this pamphlet measures 3 3/8" wide and 7" high. Unfolded, this map measures 30" wide and 28" high. This pamphlet ... moremap is in very good condition for its age. There are creases and bumps to the covers. There is also some minor soiling and discoloration to the covers.The unfolded map is completely intact. It has some creases and very small tears to the edges along the fold lines and there is some minor soiling and yellowing overall. The map colors are still crisp and bright. Lots of interesting information contained in this small pamphlet map!
