These tiles were found in storage in an older home. I'm honestly not sure of the age but they would certainly look great in an older home. Based on the original box that they were in, I would estimate th at they date from the 1940's-50's? They are not marked. And there was no information on the box. The re are 80 pieces total. This is a great old set of ceramic tiles! Here we have a set of 56. Vintage ceramic tiles. I believe they date back to the 1960's. Vintage Art Nouveau Belgium Tile Majolica Gilliot Freres Hemixem Green LOVELY!
You are bidding on a STUNNING Original vintage 6"x6" Belgium Art Nouveau tile! This beautiful tile exudes style with its delicate majolica design! It is in good vintage condition. With just a few small nibbles around the edge of the tile and a couple of slight rough rubs to the top of the tube lining in places(as seen in the pictures) and is only noted for Ebay accuracy! The reverse has a bite taken out of it(not noticable from the front) As per the picture below. A lovely tulip pattern in cobalt blue, pale green, a line of burgundy, and brown, with tan outlines. The tile is in excellent, undamaged condition, with pencil lines on the front. Made of red clay. The tile is 3/8 inches thick and isn't warped. It is unmarked, and has been used.
