The sale is for 1 of these great looking antique tiles surround that were made by the Trent Tile company of New Jersey in the late 1800's. They measure 6 x 1.5" I have the 3 x 1.5 inch tiles in this so very few or none of the mottled tiles should need to be cut for the surround with the traditional staggered design. The most common surround would be 30" high and across( or fifteen 6 inch squares) This comes out to be 60 tiles since 4 of these make a 6" square. The last picture is a shortened version of the surround for an example. The portrait tiles are NOT part of the sale(but available) Contact me if you have any questions. The sale is for 1 of these antique tiles(more are pictured) made by the Trent Tile company of New Jersey in the late 1800's. They measure 4.25" x 1" They are a light blue with a small amount of cream and mottled with and amber that turned violet or lavender when pooling with the blue. I love the fine crazing on these.
