Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of Antique 4"x4" Ceramic Floral Tiles. Wonderful. Antique, ceramic tiles salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each tile has a picture of a yellow rose sprouting from a blue pot. Both have subtle crazing in their pictures I'm not sure if the tile was made by Minton. Meakin, Kensington, or another famous manufacturer, however, they are certainly old and good quality. Each tile still has some cement on the back from where they were removed. You could soak the back portions in water and then carefully chisel the concrete off. Or you could use a Dremel with a grind stone or cutting blade instead. One tile is as close to mint condition as could be considering it's age. And the other just has 3 small chips along it's bottom edge, which will be hard to notice once installed. Elegant Victorian glazed fireplace tile. Ca. 1880s, with raised floral and scroll patterns in mauve/dusty pink. Symetrical pattern of a center flower with four protruding buds, inbetween which are elaborate ribbon-like scrolls. Glaze is beautifully crackled- visible in close-up photo. Measures 6" square by 1/2" thick. One corner is cracked- see last photo for detail. Bottom has felt"feet" added for use as a trivet. One tile only.

Tan, Green over white Unbroken and a few chipped pieces. salvaged from a turn of the century building. original period pieces of ceramic tiles from around the fireplace. they have natural age crazing and very few spots of tiny chips or imperfections. beautiful vintage tile. These were painted black over time and I removed 99.9% of the paint. there may be a speck here and there where the black soaked in. this is a pretty clean lot. this color has been very popular and these are the last I have at this time. inv.r1u3sd

4 Edwardian Moulded Ceramic Fireplace Tiles- Cream& Gold HR& J(Johnson) 2 sets of 2 tiles probably from a larger set consisting of 4 tiles but still look decorative. Marked to the back"HR& J" for H& R Johnson established in 1901 and still in existence as Johnson Tiles. Also marked to the back"PATD No 12309" and"PATT No 185. Tiles 14.8cm square and 8mm deep. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Everyone has different considerations when purchasing items and if you need any further information. Please feel free to contact me and I will try to help. Condition: All the tiles are heavily crazed(some lightly stained) and have small nibbles to the edges. One has a couple of large chips(2mm deep into the tile) one tile has ... moresignificant wear/loss of glaze to the high parts, the others have the odd little spot of missing glaze. The back of one is stained brown, probably rust marks from iron fireplace. Please see photos. Please feel free to ask any questions. I will try to answer questions as soon as possible. No.19I A wonderful pair of 2 English forest green glazed ceramic tiles with rosette and linear motifs. These green tiles were popular in England and America during the late 1800's. Both tiles are marked by the manufacturer and have an old untouched patina. They show signs of normal wear from age and use. They have very minor crazing and small chips as shown. Otherwise they are in very good antique condition. They were salvaged along with other period tiles from a South side Victorian home in Chicago and are guaranteed authentic as described. lot of 27 turn-of-the-century antique art tiles made by the beaver Falls Art tile company of Beaver Falls. Pennsylvania. The tiles are marked on the backs.They Each measure 1"x 6"x 0.5" thick. Geometric pattern in pale shades of yellow creme and blue-grey. Beaver Falls tiles are scarce and project group rarely comes around. These are in very exceptional condition. Most are nearly perfect.
