They are grouped into 35 antique garden boxes. Most of the tiles are the solid charcoal/black ones that are pictured on the right side of the close-up pictures. There are also quite a few of the solid salmon/pink color(also to the right in the close-ups) All tiles are approximately 2 inches x 2 inches. You may have to clean them up a bit as they are somewhat dusty from sitting but these should make for great rustic projects of all kinds. An antique ceramic art tile by W.B.Simpson West Strand London. It is in the Aesthetic Movement/ Arts and Crafts style and is approximately 15.5cm square.It is in good condition with just a few nicks on one side(see photo) and light crazing. It is marked as shown in the photo. Large Arts & Crafts ceramic architectural moulding by Craven Dunnill
A rare example of a large heavy ceramic moulding dating from c1890. Decorated with stylised acanthus. Stiff leaf and floret designs the moulding is 9" long and has a maximum projection of 3.5" and is 3" high. There is some wear to the glaze and some chipping but this is still an elegant and impressive piece of architectural ceramic. The piece is fully marked on the reverse including the pattern no 1432.

Early 1900s Art Nouveau or arts and crafts/mission design in shades of green and brown on black. Since these were hand decorated. You can see some variations on the colors- photos were taken outside without flash so pretty true to real life with our monitor at least. Some remaining grout on edges. Expected crazing is quite visible with macro image Condition: Some have part of the unglazed back missing from removal from fireplace surround(we counted 7 of the 12) Some have a speck on the front. Antique Tiles Gothic Victorian Art + Crafts 1880-1910 Minton Ceramic
A pair of antique English tiles dating from the 1880s through 1910. Marked clearly on the backs. The larger tile measures 4 in.² and is in a Gothic revival style. Free of chips except for a tiny corner chip but there is some light abrasion on the higher surfaces. The second tile measures 3 in.² and is in an arts and crafts style. It too is Chip free but there is surface abrasion as seen in the photos Both are 1/2 inch thick and have the same glaze. Great color and fantastic design on both.Unfortunately the condition issues.
