Shipping I am a big believer in"going green" and thus over 90% of my packing materials are recycled from a variety of sources. Believe me. It takes a lot more effort to gather these recycled materials than it would be for me to buy them and have them drop shipped to my eBay shop. I use eBay's shipping calculator to determine your shipping price based on my estimated packaged weight. I do NOT attempt to make"profit" on shipping costs. Sometimes the eBay shipping calculator seems a bit off and I will gladly issue a partial shipping refund in cases where

Antique Tile - Peacock - American Encaustic Tile Co. - Faience - Orig. Bought RI
This antique tile was made by American Encaustic Tile Co. AETCO) It shows(I think) a wonderfully-colored peacock with spread tail feathers. The tile measures 6 1/4" square. n the background. There is crackling- but I do not know if it happened naturally or was put there on purpose. I think the latter. The peacock is beautifully decorated with many colors and the edging is blue and dark green. On the back, we can see the AETCO Faience mark. Also, there is X T/PA- probably indicating where it was made. The very thin plate is where the tile was first purchased- Cull& Williams, Washington St. Providence, RI. The plate is loose- about 1/2 of it is lifted- easy to re-glue. A really fine tile!

Antique Classic Design Victorian Floor Tile American Encaustic Tile Co c1900 Description: This is a beautiful 4 1/4 inch square American Encaustic Co. tile dating. I would guess, to the late 1800s or early 1900s. I don't have documentation, but it was removed from the floor of the U.S. capitol building during a renovation in the 1920s-40s period. Grueby Pardee Children's Nursery Tile American Art Pottery Teddy Bear Golliwog
Great Grueby Pardee tile measures 4" square and 1/2" thick. This is made on the typical red faience clay body used by Pardee on its Grueby tiles in the 1920's. The red clay and buttery yellow glaze gives this tile a warm glow. I have had these tiles in both the faience clay and a white dust pressed clay body(embossed with the Pardee name) and these red clay tiles are far superior. Combined shipping is always available at BungalowBILL Check out my! Be sure to add me to your!
