Globe Is Near Perfect with no visible tears or damage. The base looks equally as good with no visible marks just normal wear for its age but honestly nothing noticeable at all. The brass tubes all look great. The globe spins and rotates as it should. The bottom has plastic feet to protect wood floors. You won’t find another one of this in as good of condition! You are viewing a vintage. I'm guessing 1970's) Cram's Imperial world Globe. It stands about 34" tall and is mounted on a wood pole that stands about 17.5" tall. The pole is connected to a 10" diameter metal base. The pole and base show vintage ware. Look at photos to see. The globe measures 12" in diameter and is mounted on it's axis by a rotating plastic gold colored support beams. They too show vintage ware. You can see paint missing on the top, near the axis on the support beam.The globe shows ware as well. The line around the equator is missing. It weighs about four pounds and is easy to move. IL. It is approximately 20” in diameter and it is a hollow metal orb with only the land masses in dark blue and outlined in yellow. The base is cast metal and very heavy. As can be seen in the photos there is a considerable amount of surface rust freckling and some staining which I am unsure of how, or if, it can be removed. Vintage Antique Table Floor Lamp Metal Base Includes Globe 28" High
Up for bids is an antique table lamp measuring between 28 and 29 inches tall. The glass globe is 8 inches across, it has an 8 inch base that is very nicely detailed. Includes bulb. Lamp has been rewired and works great. The pictures of the base(5th and 6th pictures) are the actual color. It was taken when I had it apart and was cleaning it before dark, the other pictures are taken with flash and do not show the true color, will take more tomorrow in daylight. I don't know the age of it or any more information other than it appears to be very old. Going by the condition of the original cord and the plug that was on it. I would think its from the 1920s to 1940s but really have no way of knowing. I did some searching on ebay archives and did not find one like it that had been sold in the last 2 years. T here are some numbers stamped on the ... morebottom of the base but the switch is in the way and all I can make out is S11 with 2 more numbers under the switch. And I would rather not remo ve the s wit ch as I'm afraid I would have to replace i t if I did. It screws into the base and it doesn't want to come loose. But if it would help someone by knowing what the n umbers are under it I will remo ve it and if it gets damaged will replace it with a new switch. Very nice 12 inch globe on wooden floor stand with three feet. I base the date of 1979 on information I found about the model of globe but mainly the names of countries from the time. It is a World Classic Series. Raised relief which adds texture to an already beautiful old globe. It also denotes LeRoy M. Tolman as the chief cartographer. This Beautiful 16" Diameter Vintage Reploge Globe just glows when illuminated! It sets in a handsome wood stand that is a medium toned wood(not sure of type of wood) The base is in very nice condition. There is a switch on the cord to turn the globe light on. The total cord measures 70" conveniently long. It measures 31"H x 22"W. As you see in the photos. This Globemaster 12" Globe is in near excellent condition. This is a two axis globe with raised Topography world. It features a Wood walnunt turned stand with copper colored metal base. The globe overall stands 32" high. The metal base is 10" the wood pedestal is 15 1/2" There is no wear on the world globe, nice bright colors, the wood pedastal is in great condition and the metal base paint is excellent. In order to keep shipping cost lower I will ship the globe and stand unassembled. It is very easy to assemble, simply screw the wood pedastal onto the glode(the screw is preinstalled on the globe) then install the metal base onto the preinstalled screw on the wood pedastal and install the wingnut and tighen. Vintage Milk Glass Floor Lamp Diffuser Shade The shade measures 10" across. 5 1/2" tall 2 1/4" diameter on the inside. 3" on the outside of the base that would fit on a standard size lamp. There is a waffle pattern on the outside The glass is a little rough around the small opening. This is common. The milk glass lamp shade has Blue printing on it. But I cannot make out what it says. I am sure there are people who might recognize the marks. I tried to get a good shot of it. There are some run marks on the inside from when the glass was cast. It is as if the molten glass moved a bit. The marks are hard to find on the inside. I tried to catch them in the light for you to see. There are no flaws on the outside. See photos. Vintage 1960's retro glass light fixture globe. Frosted white with golden leaf pattern. Could be used for a light fixture, floor lamp, or even a swag light. It is 7 1/2" tall, 6" across the widest part, 3 3/4" across the open end, and the base is threaded at 2" across and 1" tall. There are no chips or cracks that I could see. Offered for sale is one of the finest globes available at the turn of the 20 th Century. An 18 inch Jonhston Terrestrial globe. The sphere is constructed, Old World style, of wood, paper mache’ and plaster turned to an 18 inch diameter, and covered with 12 chromo-lithographically printed paper sections(gores) The equatorial, equinoctial and Zodiac are fully graduated in degrees, hours and minutes respectively. The horizon paper shows the houses of the Zodiac, and includes their symbols. This globe also shows the Mean Isothermal Lines for January and July, and was amongst the first to add this refinement. Ocean currents and the addition of the locations of the submarine telegraph cables are indicated as well. ... moreThe age of Arctic exploration is also represented on this globe. Johnston’s cartography is highly detailed, showing place names and geographic locations lost or ignored on lesser globes of the period, and certainly on modern globes. Johnston’s 18 inch 1909 floor model represents the height of printing and globe making of the day. The oceans maintain their gorgeous green color, and all the continents and countries are subtly differentiated in dozens of tones and half tones, indicating National and political boundaries and affiliations. The surface of the sphere and the horizon table, have been fully restored and conserved, and carry 3 coats of protective varnish on them. There is one carefully made patch in the area east of New Zealand, at the International Date Line, and a few minute touch ups. The entire surface of the globe has some freckling and shows the warm patina of age. I have handled many globes, and this remains the finest example of a pre-WWI Johnston I have ever seen. Vintage Replogle 12" Globe World Ocean Series Tall Wooden Stand Floor Standing
Replogle 12" Diameter Globe ~ World Ocean Series This is an older. Used globe on a wooden stand, with a metal base. The metal base has a faux wood print. The ring around the globe is brass. The other metal is not. It measures a total of about 33" tall. It is in vintage. Obviously used and well loved condition. The outer surface of the globe has some stains from finger prints and smears. The outer surface also has some scuff type damage where the outer layer has worn through(pictured) The metal support bar directly under the globe has small rust spots. It looks like the base was repaired with glue, and the wood has a small crack, and a long drip of glue. See picture. The wood stand and metal base each have scratches. It is very sturdy, and does not affect the performance. It isn't noticeable unless you look for it. It sounds ... morelike there is a pebble rattling around inside the globe when you turn it.

There are 3 small holes in the Antarctic circle but you can't really see this part of the globe anyway. This is in great shape even with the boo boos. This is a brown globe with colored states.
