I was planning on using these on my front porch but went with a totally different design scheme. Here you have six corbels that were handmade and found at an estate sale. They are made of wood. A soft wood, not sure what kind. They would need a good coating of stain/primer and painted. or leave unfinished. I really love the design on these, a really nice pattern. It would look great for shelving but would need some material to fatten them up a little. This pair of wooden ornamentation doesn't fall into any specific category such as finial. Corbel, pediment, etc. The 2 pieces match somewhat and as seen in the photo there is some variation in the color. There are some chips and scratches. This is a pair of antique architectural Victorian corbels. Salvaged from an old building. They have blistered layers of old paint. Each corbel measures 4 5/8" wide x 9 3/8" deep x 15 1/2" tall. I've taken pictures from many angles, so you can determine their condition which is typical for their age. Architectual Salvage Victorian Wood Unique Gable Corbels Circa 1870. Corbels were removed from our home last fall during a renovation. The house was built late 1860's early 1870's. You will recieve the pair shown in photos. Corbels are weathered and may have chipped paint. Cracks here and there, some areas may be missing a little wood. I show size using tape measure in last photos. Measurements are approx. as the corbels are handcrafted and all are unique. Please look at the photos as always the best way to describe an item. I will try and keep paint as is, covering with paper first before additional packaging for shipping. Some paint chips may come off before you recieve, this is beyond my control. I can not control shipping delays or how a package is handled after the item is dropped off at the post office.

Made of five blocks of wood measuring 6" wide. They are very solid with chippy white paint as expected for their age. The chippy paint adds to their charm and appeal! I had fully intended to put these back on our home but due to sickness was never able to do so. The home was built late 1880's- early 1890's. Corbels are weathered and may have chipped paint. Cracks here and there, some areas may be missing a little wood and a number of them have old termite damage on the end. The corbels measure 18-3/4” Long by 12” High by 4-1/8” wide.
