Description This is a nice set of antique corbels that were salvaged from a Clearfield. PA Victorian Mansion. Both sides have ornate Eastlake spoon carved flowers and vines. They have old pale yellow paint. The faces have fluting. You're bid buys the pair! They measure 22" wide. Are 24" tall and are 2.5" thick. Overall. They are in very good condition. This is a wonderful pair of carved wood-look corbels/shelves made from resin. I believe. Solid brass recessed hangers. The color is picture number 5 comes closest to the real thing, but they are actually a little darker, kind of a mahogony color, I would say. They measure 9 1/2 inches across, 5 3/4 inches deep and about 6 inches in length. Need a good cleaning, but I'll leave that to the buyer. I kind of like the dusty look! This is an awesome. Majestic pair of corbels! I was sure at first glance they were carved wood, but upon close inspection, I noticed a resin type material under a chip. There are several small chips, but they can be touched up. The hardware is intact, and they are quite heavy. They have what looks like a feather design, along with leaves. Incredible Vintage Antique Solid Wood Handcarved Corbel Birds Intricate Ornate
Here is an incredible vintage/antique solid wood handcarved corbel with some very intricate and ornate detail. There are various types of birds that are carved within the detail of this corbel. Along with many other designs. The corbel is quite large and stands about 27" tall. It is about 11" at its widest, and 4- 5" deep. The corbel is mounted on a very heavy steel base and does lift off the base. The base measures about 11 1/2 by 12" and weighs about 20 lbs. The wood carving itself weighs around 16 lbs. This is just a really beautiful and unique piece. I have not seen any like it listed on ebay. I don't know the actual age of this item, only that it shows signs of age. Description This is a beautiful lot that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They were originally parts to a built in armoire. The pair of tall brackets have great shape and finials at the top. They are made of oak with alligator-ed paint. Each is 37.5 inches tall with 2.5 wide and 2.25 inches deep. The small set has Eastlake Spoon Carvings and carved finials. They are made of walnut and are currently painted. Each is 20.5 inches tall. 2 inches wide and 1.25 inches tall. Your bid buys the lot. Overall. They are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. Please look at the pictures carefully. Description This is a nice set that was salvaged from a Philadelphia. PA Victorian Home. The 4 on the right are in pretty good shape with all of the moldings intact. The 4 on the left are broken. Missing some pieces and have no moldings. With some work they will be usable. Your bid buys the lot. All are the same size and design. Each measures 5 inches wide by 11.5 tall and is 10.75 inches deep. Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. ITEM: Ornate pair of Victorian architectural corbels or brackets with fancy roping. Pointed Gothic finials, carved decorations, original chippy paint and diamond rosettes on the top and bottom. Both are made of solid wood which appears to be oak and other mixed hardwoods. This pair was originally part of a Central Ohio farm house which was recently torn down. They are well made and have tons of character. They are perfect for making a shelf or mantle. WHEN MADE: Late 1800s SIZE: Approximately 13 1/2" tall x 12" deep x 3" across or thick CONDITION: Both are solid. Heavy and well made with no rot or soft spots.
