Not sure of exact age but did find online that the company operated under this name from roughly 1882 to 1925; it may or may not have originally had a small glass insert at the bottom, the few examples we were able to find of their items included castors or lined dishes; may be a nut/mint dish or for condiments with the addition of a liner? Frog on Round Base- Lattice J& E Stevens Co. Cast Iron mechanical bank. Patent on this bank was 1872. Original paint, I would say at least 50% remains. One crack from the assembly screw on the base to the edge. When you press the right foot, the mouth opens and the eyes roll, you put your money in the mouth and he gobbles it up. The eyes dont always roll perfectly and probably need just a cleaning around to make them work perfectly. This is a great bank for your collection. Any questions I can answer are welcome. It measures 15 1/2" from the end of the spout to the end of the handle x 6 1/2" wide water resevoir x 4 1/8" high. And is absolutely enchanting in it's shabby chic condition, with waviness to the bases of the can, as shown in the last photos. The rose and lattice design has no dings on it. Germany in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The bowl is beautifully done with a wide pierced repousse border of grapevines laden with grapes atop another border of silver open lattice work with fruit. The center of the bowl is a repousse scene of two men filling their pipes in a comfortable tavern with two other patrons in the background. The detail is just stunning. The bowl is hallmarked at the 8 o'clock position in the center. The silver is between 800-850 purity. And we guarantee that it is at least 800 silver purity. The condition is excellent. I believe this is from the 50s or 60s. The lattice work is done in a textured. 3D, delicate, carved, notched wood adding to the decorative look. Magnetic closure at the top of the doors to secure it when closed. Two metal hangers at top. Back wall is lined with a textured grass paper. Measurements: Height- 17 inches Width- 16.5 inches Depth- 5 inches Lovely Vintage Condition. Notice small rought spots at both sides. I believe these could be easily fixed up with some furniture oil.

Victorian art glass at it's finest! This beauty is certainly pure art glass and is distinctly the work of the reknown British glass firm of Steven's& Williams. Circa 1880. The body(from bottom to top) begins with white opalescent glass slightly tinted blue. A slightly footed base grows into a strong white diamond quilted lattice trunk; it narrows into a ribbed neck and opens up into a lovely ruffled deep robin's egg blue top. The flowers are applied in the matsunoke tradition in stippled cranberry color. Accented by a free flowing rigaree clear glass vine. The color combination is what makes this vase very special and particularly pleasing to the eye. The pontil is slightly convex to avoid scratching your table top- and clearly indicates this mesmerizing vase is hand crafted. Off-white, faded charcoal brown and a muted warm tone of brown ~ LOVELY dripping jewel design ~*~ this side is a printed medium weight cotton, printed using both roller printing techniques and hand carved wooden blocks for added color. This quilt is backed in a c1830's small scale cotton, that is in very poor condition. Many many many holes in the surface of the backing fabric, quite typical of these textiles ~ the back has been patched using pieces of the gorgeous front fabric! ~*~ This textile is 100% hand stitched and hand quilted with a thick, dense layer of cotton between ... morethe layers ~ The front side of this quilt has survived in wonderful condition for its age!
