The chair number is 10-6040(hard to read in the photos) manufactured ... morein plant#14 in the popular nutmeg color. This is a mates chair and although it have those little stubby"arms" it is not to be confused with the actual captain's chair of this style that has much longer arms. These were produced for a number of years by Ethan Allen for a few of their lines including Traditional and Early American. There is no damage to the chair and only a few tiny dings or scratches from normal use. There is very light wear to the very tip of the top rail and tip of the"arms" All the joints are nice and tight. It is in the popular nutmeg color and the finish is very good. It has been thoroughly cleaned and polished with butchers wax. It is 29 1/2" tall with a 17" seat height. The height of those stubby"arms" is only 25 1/4" so these chairs can be tucked tightly under the apron of most tables. Leaving more floor space in a smaller dining area. As for the chair it is very comfortable due to the great formed seat work that Ethan Allen was noted for in all of their lines from this period. It is constructed of maple and built to last for generations. As always, feel free to ask any questions and I'll get right back to you. The chair number is 10-6040(hard to read in the photos) manufactured ... morein plant#14 in the popular nutmeg color. This is a mates chair and although it have those little stubby"arms" it is not to be confused with the actual captain's chair of this style that has much longer arms. These were produced for a number of years by Ethan Allen for a few of their lines including Traditional and Early American. There is no damage to the chair and only a few tiny dings or scratches from normal use. There is very light wear to the very tip of the top rail and tip of the"arms" All the joints are nice and tight. It is in the popular nutmeg color and the finish is very good. It has been thoroughly cleaned and polished with butchers wax. It is 29 1/2" tall with a 17" seat height. The height of those stubby"arms" is only 25 1/4" so these chairs can be tucked tightly under the apron of most tables. Leaving more floor space in a smaller dining area. As for the chair it is very comfortable due to the great formed seat work that Ethan Allen was noted for in all of their lines from this period. The number 7/0 appears along with the item number and I believe this to be a California King Headboard. There are several holes drilled so the bed can be used as California King or a regular King. The headboard can be found on page#275 in the 96th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury of American Home Interiors. Please note this item(11-5641) was offered by Ethan Allen as the headboard only. The same bed was sold with the footboard and side rails(item# 5654) Ethan Allen describes their Georgian Court line as having. Intricate details crafted by skilled aritsans in fine cabinet woods such as solid Cherry and carefully selected veneers. The headboard measures 81" wide x 56" high at the posts and 45.5" at the center. The posts are 3" wide at the base. This particular headboard was manufactured in June. 1986 and is in excellent condition overall. There are some scratches low on the stretcher rail(won't show with bed assembled) and a few very tiny dings and one area where the finish is rubbed near the center(see pic# 10) There is also chipping on the very back bottom of the post/foot where the washer may have gouged into the wood(see pic#12) This will not show as it will be next to the wall. The Ethan Allen name is stamped on the back stretcher rail as well as the date and item number. The headboard finish is shiny and reflected items in the room which accounts for the color variation in the pictures. The colors of the headboard are all uniform.
