This is an old meat grinder or food chopper as it says. It is in really good condition. It has patents and places all over it so I photographed them so you can see. It does look to have just a little surface rust on the inside. But this is really sturdy and heavy! I think just needs a little oil. This weighs about 4 pounds! The crank turns easily. Up for bid is this vintage cast iron chandelier. The chandelier has six cast iron arms that curve around and support the massive 2 foot across shade. The shade is made of tin or aluminum. In the middle of the shade is the big 10" white glass globe. I can best describe the chandelier as being rustic. It has a gold color on the shade with an uneven pattern of overtones. Where the six arms of cast iron curve around and meet the shade. The paint has been rubbed off under each of the six arms. The chain wich once supported this awsome chandelier has been cut off during salvage to about 1 foot in length. The power supply cord has also been cut off to about 1 foot. You can see in the pictures that i have plugged a white extension cord into the wires that are left hanging out of the light. The light came right on with no strange noises or nothing ... moreelse looking out of place. I left the light on for 30 minutes and all was good. The lamp is heavy and will have to go into a large box for tras port. Im figuring on by the time it is packed that it will be close to 20 lbs. because of box size it will go ups. Looks like a 20 lb package of this size will be about 68.00 for shipping. Sorry it is what it is. This auction is for a 4 piece set old vintage cast iron Dutch oven/ skillet lids. Fine craftsmanship and American history. I love to cook, and when cooking with cast iron, nothing beats it. These pieces were completely stripped down to shiny metal without the use of chemicals. Cleaned, and then seasoned twice. And ... moreI really looked them over very well! The first lid measures 7 1/4 inches wide and 6 3/8's inches across from the inside to inside of the inner ring. Whether used in the kitchen or in the camp. These are great items that will bring a lifetime of use! The second lid is a very well built piece that is 8 1/2 inches wide and 7 3/8's inches across from the inside to inside of the inner ring. This old fella is also free of chips and cracks and has also been stripped to bare metal without the use of chemicals and reseasoned. It has RB 2778 cast into it's underside. It's ready for action when you are. The third lid measures 9 1/2 inches wide. Does not have an underside ring. It is well made and has an E and some other letters I can't distinguish stamped on its underside. If you turn it upside down, it also has a 3 A stamped into it. Not sure what that's about. It too(as all my cast iron goods) has also been stripped to bare metal without the use of chemicals and reseasoned at least twice. The final lid is a Griswold Erie 2552 lid. It measures 11 1/4 inches

Rare Antique Rustic Primitive Civil War Era Cast/Forged Iron Building Tie, Description. I am pleased to offer for your consideration this authentic Civil War era cast/wrought iron star shaped building tie. I found this item in Jersey City. NJ on the waterfront, in the rubble, steps from the Hudson sometime between 1983-1985 when passing the demolition of one of the last 19c maritime warehouses. That warehouse if I remember had.xxxx. PORK WAREHOUSE lettering and a huge American Indian head(like on an old coin) logo design painted on it. That warehouse was one of the earlier ones around having very thick walls with arched openings proving it's pre cast iron era origin. The tie(comprised from the stem and the plate) weighs 3 1/2 lbs and it is 12" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" The star shaped plate is sandcast iron and the stem is hand ... moreforged iron. Two holes were punched in the stem while the metal was hot for the thick wrought iron spikes(not included) that they used to fasten this item to a beam. They have smashed the end of the stem sticking out from the plate by hammering. The marks are visible, to secure it. It would be nice to know if the plate was placed before or after the brickwork was finished. In any case the purpose of this item was to keep the beam securely in the masonry and to some extent to keep the masonry from spreading outward. I have seen many interesting ties over the years but very seldom together with the stem. Intact like this. I think one of the reasons for that is that most of those are from later when at some point they started using threads and bolts at the end of the stems which could be installed and taken apart easily. And because they are a matching set of 4. They are not old, but what they lack in age, they make up for in a PUNCH of rustic primitive charm! It's a set of 4 cast iron star shaped hooks- made to either mount on the wall or onto your piece of wood, cabinet, door etc. each one measures 4 1/4" wide point to point, 5 7/8" tall star top to the bottom of the hook, ... moreand the hooks are 1 1/4" deep front to back. Each one weighs just under 1/2 lb. They have a black finish, over which is a finish of a deep rusty brown to emmulate real rust(which it's not) Each one has a single mounting hook in the center of the star that is 1/4" diameter measuring on the inside. Up for bids at auction: Up for bids is this antique cast iron farm well pump. Great patina- ready for display or restoration. Marked with embossed lettering that reads. BECKMAN BROS ~ DES MOINES IOWA" along with embossed parts numbers throughout the pump. Handle raises up and down easily- as you can see in the pictures, one of the ears that holds the handle on was broke off long and ago and repaired, the pump was obviously still used after that. The other ear apparently broke at a later date- nothing recent and was never repaired- All it needs is welded or braized and the pump should be usable. The top will need a different bolt to hold it on as it just kinda sits loosely on top right now. The bolt may come out hard. Up for sale a nice lot of 4 Matching. Rustic, Antique, Cast Iron, Swivel, Wheel Castors. Measure app. 2 3/4" high with the posts by 1 7/8" wide. The shafts measurers 1 1/4" high by 1/4" thick. The wheels measure 1 1/4" in diameter and are 3/4" wide. The cast iron has no cracks or breaks and little wear. There is no paint on them and they have some light rust. The wheels are all cast iron and roll freely. All are in good condition and ready for use.

It has a cast iron handle and wood pulley, in good condition for its age, the wood pulley does a couple cracks in it but nothing that's all the way through. very fine craftsmanship. approx. age is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. it is approx. 10 inches high by 6 inches wide.

Antique Little Cast Iron Pot 3-leg Kettle Primitive Rustic Miniature
Here is an small 3-legged cast iron kettle that appears to be hand forged. A cute rustic primitive. Bale is somewhat bent. And kettle has a lightly rusted finish. Condition is consistent with its age. Top opening is 4 inches in diameter; from lip to lip where bale attaches is 5 inches. Bottom is 3 3/4 inches diameter. Stands about 3 inches tall. Kettle has a small chip along the rim, and when viewed upside down there is a small seam along one side(not a crack all the way through) The seam, the imperfect bale, and a patchy place on the bottom make this appear to be hand-forged.
