This piece was purchased at an estate sale. This piece was disassembled to remove excess rust and grime. Leaving a wonderful pitted metal finish. There is no paint just oil waxed and sealed. Rustic Primitive Rusty 65" Cast Iron Barn Chain With Threaded Hook Steampunk Busybusybusy treasure hunting week for you. I shopped at a closing antique store. Went to the flea market, and still have some items from the weeks ago farm estate auction- there’s lots of neat stuff that you don‘t want to miss! I bought a box of old barn chain from the farm auction that I went to weeks ago- you can never have too much old chain( And I'm listing them individually. This is a nice sized oldee- not too big, not too small at 65" long- that's the chain only. There's a hook that is threaded onto the chain on one end that measures 6" long by 2 1/2" widest, and on the other end of the chain, there's a bold that has two nuts- one on either end that measures 1 3/4" long. Each chain link is 1 3/4" by 1" wide, ... moreand the whole thing together weighs 4 1/2 lbs. It's in as found, barn lived for a looooong time condition. Very rustic with oldoldold rust that is very dark. The iron is pitted all over, but the chain holds strong. The hook has threads on the bottom and you can see a nut and washer on the screw. It's rusty(surface) but I could get the nut to move on the threads. The bolt on the other side- I couldn't get either of the nuts to move- see photos 14& 15. That being said, I'm not exactly the strongest person, and I just used my hands- no tools, so you may have better luck, but I wanted you to know. It's barn fresh dirty, dusty and cob-webby- I have not cleaned in any way, it's as found! Nothing says primitive Americana like an old barn chain! Please ask if you have any questions. Went to the flea market, and still have some items from the weeks ago farm estate auction- there’s lots of neat stuff that you don‘t want to miss! What can I tell you. I love the rustic-ness of this barn dug fella- he's been through a battle of the elements, but he's still holding strong! What I have is an early 1900s cast iron WWI Era soldier toy, fresh out of the barn. His patina, I'd call oooold rustic rust, as any evidence of his long ago finish is indeed, long ago. It's an old toy that measures 3 5/8" tall, 1 1/4" wide and has a base that is 1 1/8" by 3/4" He is cast out of iron- a magnet sticks to him, and he stands totally solid and sturdy ... moreon his base. In addition to the old rust patina, he has lots of pitts to the metal, making his features and details less crisp than original, I'm sure, but no holes or eat throughs or sharp edges- he's sturdy and gorgeous, and barn fresh dirty, dusty and cobwebby- he could use a good cleaning- I have not cleaned or messed with the as found patina in any way. He has some weight for his size- at 1/4 lb. Please supersize and look at all. He's rustic, and very primitive, but if you are like me- that's exactly where you will find his charm. lot of 4 vintage cast iron wall mount double hook coat hat hooks. Three of these hooks are worn brass plated cast iron. The other hook is worn copper plated cast iron. None of the hooks have matching bases. All of the hooks have some rust. The copper plated hook is very heavy duty with a base 1/8" thick. One hook has a ball finial, three others have curved finials. Vintage Cast Iron Ceiling Plate Vent Stove Pipe Register PRIMITIVE RUSTIC
This Cast Iron Ceiling Plate Cover Grate came from the house I grew up in. Rustic and Primitive. It is not without character. The house was built in the late 1800's so this would date from that up to 1926-no later. We had a very old stove in our living room area and this was fastened on the ceiling with the pipe going through the center. It has multiple coats of paint and is rusty underneath but the structure of the piece is intact. It is about 15 3/4 inches wide. I didn't remove the paint as some people prefer the"natural" look and others would strip this down and remove as much rust as possible and perhaps paint it, etc. The paint definitely chips easily. It does have a beautiful design including a twisted roped outer area and the inner area. It's been stored in a machine shed in Iowa and not exposed to rain. Vintage Steampunk Cast Iron FE Myers Barn Pulley Old Farm Tool Rustic Primitive
Vintage antique cast iron farm barn pulley. Overall it measures about 11 inches by 4 1/2 inches. The metal sheave turns freely. I removed all the rust from the metal. I then primed the metal and put three coats of black paint on it. Marked"Ashland. O. U.S.A. on one side and"F. E. Myers& Bros; H453" on other side. One side is flat and you can set it on a shelf(see pics. 2& 3) Is a very nice decorative piece. Take a look at the pics. I am trying to get some other pulleys listed and will combine shipping. U.S shipments only. International shipping is way too expensive anymore. SORRY. Shipping at buyer expense using medium flat rate. I sell mostly used items and as such they show signs of wear and tear.

Vintage Steampunk Cast Iron Wood Barn Pulley Farm Tool Rustic Primitive H235 236
Vintage antique cast iron and wood farm barn pulley. Overall it measures about 11 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches wide. The wood sheave turns freely and the eye hook swivels. I took the pulley apart cleaned it and removed all the rust from the metal. I then primed the metal and put three coats of black paint on it. I cleaned and sanded the wood and then treated it with three coats of nonshine tung oil. The wood has a dull look because I used the dull tung oil. The pulley is in good condition and the wood shows the wear of usage over the years. There are some cracks in the wood pulley due to age. Would make a very nice decorative piece. Take a look at the pics. This one is marked H 235 on one side and H 236 on the other side. U.S shipments only. International shipping is way too expensive anymore. SORRY. Shipping at buyer expense.
