F.E. Myers& Bro. Ashland. Ohio Stay On Trolley This Stay On barn door trolley from Myers is showing heavy signs of age and wear. There is surface rust. Dirt, grease and grime, along with some white paint in spots. It measures 11.5" and is 4.5" across the widest spot of the trolley. Numbered 1464 on the reverse side. For all the age and wear showing it is still in excellent solid condition. No signs of any repair. I attended an estate sale here in northern Indiana where the farm was settled on in 1874& been in the same family since- these barn door rollers came from the old red barn that was on the site- they are used. In nice vintage solid condition- they measure approx. 10 1/4" high X 5 3/4" wide& are made for heavy doors- the rollers spin freely& come with the bolts& nuts attached, just the way I acquired them- marked"BIG 4" NATIONAL MFG. CO. STERLING, ILL. have a large letter P. tag on one is almost worn off. Shipping is $11 to lower 48 states.

Up for auction we have 2 awesome antique farm barn door rollers! The rollers are marked J.O. Co. Reading. PA.The length of the rollers is 13 inches, the width of the mounting section to the barn door is 4 1/2 inches. The mounting hole size is 3/8 ths. of an inch. The stand alone weight of these rollers is 7 lbs. 7 ozs. There are residual signs of old paint on the rollers, I do believe the bottom half of the rollers were painted a beige color and the top half were painted black. Both track rollers spin freely. I would hazard a guess to say these barn door rollers are pushing 100 years old, if not older! A very cool set of rollers just waiting for your repurposing and artistic mind to to decide what to do next with these great pieces of true Americana! Antique Metal Iron Farm Barn Gate Shed Garage Large Door Hinges European Unique
I salvaged these from a hotel(Rasthaus) I worked at in Germany. It was a hotel that the US military"confiscated" from Hitler after the war. For more on the History of this resort/hotel. Google afrc chiemsee. These hinges were used on the the revieving double doors in the back where trucks would deliver to the hotel. They decided to put in a rolling door and I snagged these before their journey to the dumpster. I shipped them home in my bag on the 1 year anniversary of the 911 terrorist attacks(flights were the cheapest in history on that day) Naturally. Airport security searched my bag because of the tremendous weight. They simply could not comprehend why someone would smuggle hinges into the US. Alas, I got them home and they have been one of the coolest things I own for more than a decade. But now I have children and bills and ... morelittle use for these beautiful hinges. They are in great working condition and are extremely solid. There is some rust around a few of the stationary pins(part that fastens to the door frame) where it screws to the jamb. It is minimal and doesnt seem to threaten the integrity or strength of the hinges. Also. The flat portion of this pin piece that attaches flush to jamb is slightly bowed(curved) I tried to capture this in a photo, but could not. I believe this occured from overtightening and, again, does not seem to effect the integrity or strength of the hinges. Paint is decent but peeling in places and has some old paint/varnish over parts. It will be easy to refirb or leave for the rustic shabby chic look. They are used but good working condition. 2 SETS OF ANTIQUE FARM BARN DOOR ROLLERS ((LOOK))
Up for auction we have 2 sets of barn door rollers. Though I do think these rollers were used on lighter individual stable doors. The roller brackets are not a match. On the one bracket the lips are both bent the same way and on the other bracket the lips are bent in opposite directions, the widths of the brackets are the same and the width is the same, but again the lips are different lengths, please look at the photo where I placed the rulers to point out this discrepancy. The roller wheels spin freely and the roller wheel brackets do pivot a short distance up and down. The outside dimension of the roller wheels is 9/16 ths The roller wheels measure 2 3/4inches in diameter. I must also point out that on the one roller, where the large bracket is bolted to the smaller 3 hole mounting bracket, the top nut is froze up! There are remains of ... moreblack paint on these rollers, for what ever reason the one roller has a lot of black paint still remaining. I do not see any manufacturers mark on the rollers.The combined weight of the rollers is 5 lbs. From a local estate. Here is a pair of antique barn door rollers in"as-found" condition. Standard rollers for a track system, measuring about 9.5" top to bottom, wheels are 1 7/8" These are VERY dirty with dried, caked grease, they are complete and everything works, all hardware is free, the adjustment nuts are both loose. Up for auction is this old barn door hinge. It is a Big 4 model by the National Mfg Co. Please see all photos to rate condition- condition is as shown. The hinge is used and shows some age. The horseshoe top end has a bend in it. The roller spins well. Overall height is 10.5" The roller is ~ 3" diameter. I see no cracks- it is solid. I can combine shipping. Thanks for looking.

Antique Look Blacksmith Forged Iron - Farm Barn Door / Gate Hinges - Large - Two
These hinges are Large. They are heavy and strong. Each set weighs approx. 2 lbs and 14 oz. The long piece approx. 13-1/2" long. and at the widest point 2" The hinge piece is approx. 7-1/2" x 3-1/2" wide. These are stamped on the back with initials and 1993. The holes are recessed for screws. They have a great old forged look. There are no sharp edges. As they are thick. Ships to US only. Please ask questions.
