Antique Barn Door Track Steampunk Trac Light - Rustic Cabin Architectural Decor
Nice Solid Barn Door Track and comes with 4 Rollers. Two of the rollers have a tab that is marked Cannon Ball Door Hanger. Harvard ILL. The total length of the tubing is around 19.5 feet long but each piece of pipe is 36 inches long and one piece that is 18 inches long so you can make your project any size you need. Has two hangers that have the rollers that are froze up so they may just need some oiling/cleaning. It has 2 end caps which is shown in the last picture and I do not any cracks. Welds or repairs on them. Each piece is connected with a sliding collar which is shown in the 5th picture. Each connecting collar and the ends slide in slots which is shown in the 6th picture. Awesome Heavy 24" Antique 3 Step Barn Hinges Salvaged from an old very old barn in the UP of Michigan. These hinges were used on the a revieving double doors. They are 24 inches long and at the hinge base 8 inches wide. They weigh about 9 pounds each. They are as found and for their age are in great working condition and are extremely solid. There is some rust and lots of paint. They appear to be spring loaded. Paint is decent but peeling in places and has some old paint/varnish over parts. Up for auction is a nice set of Louden barn door rollers in good condition. They have been lightly cleaned and the 2 on the left are in good working order and the 2 on the right need bearings. They are 8" tall and 4 3/4" wide. This is an unusual set and they have the earliest patent date that I've seen for door rollers. UNUSUAL PRIMITIVE BARN DOOR ROLLER STEAMPUNK REPURPOSE ((MUST SEE))
Up for auction we have this primitive single barn door roller. At least this what I believe this roller was used for, though I must admit I dont know how this roller was mounted or configured as there are no mounting holes present! The diameter of the roller is 6 inches. The outside diameter of the roller is about 3/4 inches. The inner groove of the roller measures 5/16ths. The stand alone weight of the roller is 4 lbs. 2 ozs.The exposed hollow roller pin is somewhat sharp.The roller spins freely. As with most of my iron items, I cleaned this item with a wire brush and then clear sprayed the roller. Perhaps someone out there in ebay land can find a new purpose for this roller! Near the Houston Ship Channel. I’m told that the warehouse was built in 1914. The outward-facing surfaces of the hangers are nicely contoured. I’ve cleaned them up by removing the large rivet that held the wheel in place. Removing the rusted needle bearings from the wheel, sandblasting the hanger and wheel, replacing the rivet with a 5/8” square-head bolt, and replacing the needle bearings with two oil impregnated, powdered metal, bronze bushings(one inside the other) The bushings fit loosely, and the wheel rolls smoothly. The nut has been tack welded to the bolt to ensure that it ... moredoes not back off. I sandblasted the hangers just enough to remove most of the rust. But not all of it.
