Up for auction is a pair of early 1900's cast iron Myers Stayon barn door rollers. Both rollers are good solid useable barn door rollers with no problems. They are in great shape with no cracks or repairs and both rollers turn smoothly. The raised cast lettering is sharp. Clear and easy to read. All the loose rust and old paint was removed leaving behind the beautifully aged cast iron. The hangers are solid all over with no rust through or thin spots. Antique Vintage Round Barn Door Roller Track Tube Pipe Track Two 8' Pcs.
Up for auction are two 8' sections of round tube type barn door roller track. This track is hard to find. I've sold quite a few Allith Prouty barn door rollers that use this type of track but never found the track to go with it. The track is straight and in good condition. It is approx. 1 1/4" in diameter. The support brackets and end caps are cast iron. There are 3 moveable support brackets for each piece and a total of 2 end cap supports. If shipping charges are high it's because of the length. I can cut the track shorter if you don't need 8' lengths and it will drop shipping charges quite a bit. A NICE OLD BARN DOOR FROM THE KANSAS PRAIRIES. I removed this barn door from a demoed barn about 10 years ago. PLEASE NOTE! THIS MIGHT BE CONSIDERED A MARRIED DOOR. This barn had 2 doors. I was only able to salvage 1 door from the 2. Most of the bottom panel came from the second door as can bee seen in the pictures. I have the second track and rollers from the second door in another listing. SOMETHING INTERESTING about this door is that it had a counterweight to let it roll easier. The pulley is pictured in the center of the track. The track and rollers are rusty and will have to have some work to make operational. The roller wheels turn freely but are loose from years of use. Antique Wood Sliding Barn Door -Cast Iron Track -1900-100+ Years Old-Vintage
This is an authentic antique sliding barn door. At one time functioning in my barn. Built in 1900. It has age marks, chippy blue paint on the handle, rust on the tracks, although this doesn't effect the rolling, and a very old hole cut into the bottom. The track is straight. Dimensions-82 1/2" H x 48 3/4" W x 2" Thick. The track is-94" long. The rollers are 10" H x 9 1/4" W x 2" D. The hole is 4" W x 5" H and could be covered with a thin veneer wood or left as is or the height may too tall for your opening and it would be cut after that point. PICK UP ONLY-Central NY area. For sale we have a beautiful antique pair of"BIG 4" barn door Rollers and track. The track measures 8 feet in length. Track is straight and solid cast Iron. Rollers pivot and pulley wheels turn perfectly. Nice rust patina throughout. Track had been painted light grey at one time when they re-painted the Barn. For sale we have a nice antique pair of"BIG 4" barn door Rollers and Track. The track is made up of one six foot cast iron piece and one three foot cast iron piece with the male& female puzzle knotches on each end of both. So the total track length measures slightly over 9 feet. Track is solid, rollers pivot and pulley wheels turn well. Replaced the one C.I. wheel in the one as the existing wheel had been cracked in the back of it. New C.I. wheel is 3-1/2" diameter while the Big 4 with the original wheel is only 3" diameter so when mounting on your door you will have to make the 1/2" adjustment. Nice rust patina throughout.
