Up for bid is a variety pack of three(3) Barn Door Rollers. These industrial rural rollers are items I found together so decided not to look for the mates. But to offer them for sale. All three turn freely. Need cleaning and or oiling, and are quite different. First is a cannon ball type roller. This item is about 7" long. 1 3/4" wide and weighs around 1 1/2 pounds. Wheels are about 1 3/8" across(contact me if you need more precise measurements) This set is rusty with that rustic look. Has just part of the mounting hardware attached(see pictures) No chips or cracks. Second is a piece with a bit more mounting hardware attached. Wheel portion is about 7 1/8" long and 1" wide. Whole mechanism weighs around 3 pounds 6 ounces. The wheels are about 1/4" wide. This is a pair of antique Barn door track hangers or rollers that measure about 8-3/4" long or tall or so and are about 7-3/4" across the widest place. The wheels measure about 3/8" thick or so. They are both marked but it is very faint. And I had to put my reading glasses on, and have a magnifying glass to read this: Patent or something, 1915, or I think that is what I read. It is very faint. They both are of course are rusty, and both have a little red paint on them. They both turn very freely. These rollers come apart into two pieces, as on eof the pictures will show. Nice Solid Barn Door Track and comes with 4 Rollers. Two of the rollers have a tab that is marked Cannon Ball Door Hanger. Harvard ILL. The total length of the tubing is around 19.5 feet long but each piece of pipe is 36 inches long and one piece that is 18 inches long so you can make your project any size you need. Has two hangers that have the rollers that are froze up so they may just need some oiling/cleaning. It has 2 end caps which is shown in the last picture and I do not any cracks. Welds or repairs on them. Each piece is connected with a sliding collar which is shown in the 5th picture. Each connecting collar and the ends slide in slots which is shown in the 6th picture. Each roller is about 4 ¾ inches across and 1 inch wide. Overall measurements about 24 inches from the top of the bracket to the bottom of the rollers and 9 ¾ inches long(from roller to roller) The rollers are rusted in position and don’t move. Antique 1930's Barn/Corn Crib (Rustic BEAUTIFUL Barn Wood) WHOLE STRUCTURE!!!
SPECIFICATIONS: Up for your consideration is an antique weathered wooden Corn Crib barn partially covered in steel from early 1930's. Located on a farm near Minier. Illinois, the building's previous use was obviously for agricultural uses, but is no longer used for such purposes. The structure remains intact as shown in the pictures provided. What's great is that the possibilities for the wood are endless. The unique weathered wood has a great patina with remnants of red paint and the usual wear and tear associated with time and the elements. The wood on the inside is in remarkable condition! I have seen weathered wood re-purposed into furniture, back-splashes,wall treatments, mantels, tables, and doors. The wood is great for a unique look inside your home, office or business. There are a couple of matters that I am unsure of ... moreregarding the structure such as its age and the type of wood(s) used for the build. My initial guess is that the corn crib was built in the early 1900's. This is mainly due to the fact that the foundation is fabricated from stones/bricks. My guess is that the wood is pine, but I am unsure of this and whether there are different types of throughout the structure. The structure does still have the hardware attached for the sliding doors and doors are intact- these obviously contain rust. The roof appears to be galvanized and the 2 end walls, but I am unsure if it is original to the structure my guess is this was later added. Overall, the structure is in great condition and a real testament to time. The look of the wood is truly genuine and cannot be reproduced without the time and elements that this structure has seen since its construction.
