Hi.This is a beautiful set of anchor designed wooden shutters from a coastal home in Maine. These outdoor chippy green shutters measure 13" wide x 51 1/2" tall and 1 1/4" thick. This is the first set of many we removed off this beautiful coastal Maine mansion last fall. This is one of two sets we are putting on this week to see how they go on the auction block. Late 18th- early 19th century RAISED PANELED shutters(OR doors. NICE. Hand forged strap hinges still attached. Old crackled white(albeit dirty) paint. Beautiful detailed 1877 Salesman Sample Patent Model all wood with glass sash Window and Shutter system. Original tags also included. It measures 11" tall. 8" wide, and 4" thick. The window sash slides up and down the shutters open and shut with brass lever. Shuter operation is still and I don't want to force it. The lower sash has no glass. Shabby window shutters ~ 4 pairs of double hinged vintage louvered shutters with little porcelain knobs and hooks. Some have the complete side hinge, some do not. The louvers may or may not open all of the way depending if they are stuck/painted closed. One panel has a top loose/broke louver. One of the panels the louvers are completely out of the holes, this needs to be pushed back in, all wood has dovetailed/grooved fittings, then maybe glued or nailed. These are consider fixers, selling AS IS. No cracks or broken pieces. Totally ready for finishing touches/restoration. Each panel measures 25" tall x 16" across. They are dusty/dirty but if cleaned a little. May not require repainting, as the white paint on these is in good condition.

Here are a great set of antique window shutters from my old Victorian home. There are 3 pairs or 6 panels of window shutters. They measure 5 ft long and 38 inches wide per pair. And they are 1.5 inches thick. They are in very good condition except the one widow pane that got water damaged at the bottom of the window, see photos) All the trim moulding is present as well. Most have their original glass panes. There are 14 panes to each window. These are true divided panes. Offered is this pair of louvered wood shutters removed from an upstate New York cobblestone home built in the 1840s. I purchased these to install on my village home. But moved to the country, took the shutters with me and none fit this house. I need the space in the barn, so they all must go. These have a closed width of 28 inches(14� each shutter) and have an overall height of 70 3/4�. Making them a bit odd in size. Both shutters have the original mounting hardware, and has one sash lock. The shutter on the left is missing the sash lock, and is loose at the corner(see detail pictures) All louvers are present, although one or two may be loose(not hooked to the vertical bar) and while they move and open, they are a bit sticky. This is a very nice pair of antique exterior window shutters that come from a home in Egypt. They measure aprox. 1 1/2" x 40 1/4" high x 14" wide each. They have a nice geometric pattern in the center on both sides. They are pegged at the corners and have through tenon construction. They are not quite a matched pair. The hardware does not match, and are designed for decorative use. We also have a second similar pair presently listed. Two Pairs Solid Oak Window Shutters~Window Treatments!!
Two beautiful pairs of solid oak window shutters~4 total panels. These were an estate sale find. The shutters are stationary and do not move up and down. Most hardware is present. Some will need to be replaced. They are raw wood, not stained or coated. The grain of the oak wood is gorgeous with just one coat of polyurethane and if I were to keep these, I'd use poly on them. They measure 35" tall, 16-3/4" wide(each pair of 2 panels) and a 1" depth. The fella' I bought them from said he'd used several pairs of these to create a windowscape to cover beer mirrors in his basement. I do not know if they came from a smoke or pet free home. They smell like wood to me and are being sold AS IS. One panel is very minutely taller than it's mate~an easy fix with sanding. These are heavy! I've sold two pairs already and ... morethat box weighed over 17 lbs. Solid oak shutters don't come around that often. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping is an estimate. Each has two female(sides) of the original hinges attached. Most of these are in good condition. A few may be chipped or broken. They are covered with paint so it is hard to tell.
