Two nuts I could not remove from the other bolts. I only tried some wd40, worked on the first ones, not on the other 2. There is overall rust and wear. dings to the aluminum buttons. They turn very stiff. measures approx. 10 1/8" X 5 3/4" wide each. They will fit in a medium flat rate box. weight is over 6 lbs wrapped I try to describe items to the best of my knowledge. Offered are two. Never-used"Big 4" barn door rollers made by National Manufacturing of Sterling, Illinois. To be clear, these are not 100-year old antiques, and are likely of late 20th century manufacture. Each roller is about 10 inches long and 5-3/4 inches wide at the horseshoe-shaped part. The pulleys themselves are about 3-1/4 inch. These are pretty heavy-duty hangers and each weighs about 3-1/2 pounds. While the rollers were never used. They do have considerable paint loss and light corrosion in those areas. There is no damage or deformation anywhere in the metal. They are as perfectly functional as the day they were made. They'd be simple to spray paint whatever color you liked. I didn't touch them up in case this was the look someone wanted. I've posted lots of pictures so you can look them over. You are bidding on a set of antique barn door hinges. The total length of the hinge is 10 inches from the edge of the rectangular area to the tip of the hinge. The rectangular part is 5 1/2 inches x 2 inches. These hinges were salvaged off a barn near Kutztown. Pennsylvania. Pair of Antique Barn Door Rollers Hanging Hardware Rusty Old Vintage 2
Here we have a pair of antique barn door rollers. One of the 2 is missing one screw that holds on the back piece of metal. The bar of metal that goes across the wheels has"FRANTZ" etched on both the front and back. And the back piece of metal reads"FRANTZ STERLING, ILL. One of the wheels on the piece that isn't missing a screw doesn't move, but all the other wheels move well, along with the hinges. Both are very rusty but you can still see some of the original lighter colored metal. The wheels have a 3" diameter and the whole thing is 9" tall. From wheel to wheel it is 7.5" wide and the base piece is 4" wide. This is a very cool antique which would be a great addition to any collection. These Hinges came from an 1800's farm house in Greenwich. Connecticut. They measure 16 1/2 Inches across By 4 1/2 Inches in height. Great Solid working hinges no pitting and ready to be cleaned and painted. Please review pictures and description carefully. 2 Vintage Antique Barn Door Rustic Iron Bolt Sliding Latch/ Lock* Pat. 1892. This is a'Rare' pair of vintage sliding bolt latches. By lifting the center the bolt could be slid either way to secure a barn door from opening. Releasing the center the bolt would return to its down position. These could be used on either left or right hinged doors. There would have been a'U' shaped guide for the bolts to slide into to lock but are missing. Antique Adjustable Barn Door Roller Set/2 Lot Vintage Farm Track Work to Restore
From a local estate. Here is a pair of antique barn door rollers in"as-found" condition. Standard rollers for a track system, measuring about 9.5" top to bottom, wheels are 1 7/8" These are VERY dirty with dried, caked grease, they are complete and everything works, all hardware is free, the adjustment nuts are both loose. They could probably be greased and used as found, but they really need a kerosene soak and a good cleaning before use. Please check out all of the photos above. Thanks for looking!
