Antique Blacksmith Forged Iron Primitive Farm Barn Door / Gate Hinges Massive!
These hinges are really big. Really heavy, really old, and really NEAT looking. Both together weigh 31 pounds. You can tell these were forged. I like how the outside edges were given a bevel. These hinges have spent most of their 100 plus years outside so there is rust and pitting. With proper care, they could last another 100 years. Use them inside or out or just hang them as they are for decoration.

PAIR of Antique Blacksmith hand forged wrought iron straps and matching hinges. Discovered in a horse carriage barn in Duxbury. Mass. Straps are 19" inches long. 1 1/2" inch wide at the widest area and the round tips are 1 1/4" across. Matching hinges are 9" inches long and 1 1/2" inch wide with a 1 1/2" long bolt that slides into the female end of straps. Straps and hinges are a 1/4 of an inch thick of forged iron. Beautiful primitive hand forged iron from the Colonial era. No cracks or breaks to metal. Wonderful patina- consistent with age and use
