It is over 100 years old, with a date of"April 24, 1906" on the round piece(washer) that you see in pictures# 3, 4& 5. Here is a functional set of barn door rollers. Still on the original wood. The total length of the board is 41" 19" at the widest part with the broken board. The main board is 6-1/2" X 1" There are lots of nails in it. The metal attached to the boards are 2-1/2" wide. The wheels are about 3-1/2" the covers around them are 5" across. ONE OF THE WHEELS ARE BROKEN! It rolls fine. But it does have a chunk broken off that spans about 2" They are both marked PAT MAY 28-0, I'm assuming that means 1800, especially since the wood measurements are true, but I'm no expert. 18th C RARE PRIMITIVE EARLY HORSE RANCH CORRAL WOOD GATE BARN DOOR BED HEADBOARD
this 18th century old early original primitive horse ranch corral wooden gate is an exceptional piece of very early horse farm history. it has the best true early aged surface. the hinge post is slightly longer so it tilts a bit when standing. total measurements are 69 1/4'h x 49 1/4'w x 2 7/8' in thickness and weighs about 90 pounds. one of its highlights is the built in sliding gate latch which i think is just great and love about it. it is in all original as found untouched condition. some insignificant minor wood losses and anomolies consistant with a piece of this age but it is in nice stable and solid condition. the upper curved board does have an very early split which has an old wire repair which does not affect the integrety at all and i think just adds to its authentic character. this would look awesome as wall hanging ... morefolk art or a standing piece anywhere that can accomodate room for it. this would especially make for the most unique stunning bed headboard. its being offered for a pick up however i can assist with frieght shipping arrangements.

The paint is flaking off and looks like it would be easy to strip the rest of it off. The hinges are 3 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide. This doesn't include the part sticking up- just the part attached to the wood. I only have that part- I do not have the part that was attached to the wall. 32"x96", 2/8x8/0 Custom 2 Panel Barn Wood Door, Reclaimed Weathered Gray Lumber
I have up for sale a unique custom built barn wood door. It is a two panel design. We custom built the door out of weathered gray barn lumber. The styles& rails are tenoned together with two panels in the top and bottom with the panel in top being larger. They are separated with a rail that is also tenoned into the styles. The size of the door is 32" x 96" or referred to a 2/8x8/0. And it is a 1-3/4" thick door. This door is designed to be put in a pocket door or sliding door application, so there is no hinge boring or knob routing on it. It is a solid door with all the wood being reclaimed wood from local barns in the east Tennessee area. There is a picture of each side of the door along with some close up pictures of the wood as well. We can custom build any door size someone is needing. Antique 1930's Barn/Corn Crib (Rustic BEAUTIFUL Barn Wood) WHOLE STRUCTURE!!!
SPECIFICATIONS: Up for your consideration is an antique weathered wooden Corn Crib barn partially covered in steel from early 1930's. Located on a farm near Minier. Illinois, the building's previous use was obviously for agricultural uses, but is no longer used for such purposes. The structure remains intact as shown in the pictures provided. What's great is that the possibilities for the wood are endless. The unique weathered wood has a great patina with remnants of red paint and the usual wear and tear associated with time and the elements. The wood on the inside is in remarkable condition! I have seen weathered wood re-purposed into furniture, back-splashes,wall treatments, mantels, tables, and doors. The wood is great for a unique look inside your home, office or business. There are a couple of matters that I am unsure of ... moreregarding the structure such as its age and the type of wood(s) used for the build. My initial guess is that the corn crib was built in the early 1900's. This is mainly due to the fact that the foundation is fabricated from stones/bricks. My guess is that the wood is pine, but I am unsure of this and whether there are different types of throughout the structure. The structure does still have the hardware attached for the sliding doors and doors are intact- these obviously contain rust. The roof appears to be galvanized and the 2 end walls, but I am unsure if it is original to the structure my guess is this was later added. Overall, the structure is in great condition and a real testament to time. The look of the wood is truly genuine and cannot be reproduced without the time and elements that this structure has seen since its construction. Vintage Salvaged Reclaimed Barn Wood Door, Antique & Decorative Piece, BD-27
I have up for sale a unique barn wood door. All our reclaimed doors have been salvaged from deconstructing barns in the lower East TN area. The majority of the doors range around 100 years old. Some may have some more modern pieces on them from people using the barns throughout the time frame until deconstruction. The size of the door is 1"thick x 62"long x 29-1/2"wide, that is not counting the stretcher boards holding the door together, counting them the door will about double in thickness. Some doors are more unique than others, some have the rusty strap hinges on them, others have the antique wooden slides to lock and open the door, and some just have some unique accessories on them, I would recommend looking and zooming in at the pictures to see the great detail and the unique characteristics of each door.
