Antique Set Louden Roll Easy Barn Door Rollers Vintage
This is a set of old Loudon barn door rollers which are marked Louden Roll Easy 1629 on one side and Fairfield Iowa on the other. These came from an old closed down store and I'm prety sure they are unused but have gotten wet at one time and have surface rust on them in places mostly on the barckets but could be repainted to look like new again. The wheels turn fine and measure approx 3-1/4" across and overall including the bracked approx. 10-3/4" long and the bracket would fit a 1-3/4" wide door. Antique Heavy Duty Set Horseshoe Barn Door Rollers w/ 8' Track Blacksmith Nails
A very nice piece this is an antique set of two heavy duty barn door rollers complete with it's original 8' track and 13 blacksmith made nails we pulled out of the barn when we took everything down. It is complete and ready to install but some of the nails need straightened and the one roller wheel has a broken flange and it will need to be replaced. This is very simple to do. Drill or grind off the one rivet head I am pointing two and the wheel just slips out. You will need another similar 3" wheel to take its place, I would think a 3" pulley bought here on Ebay or at a home improvement store will work perfect. I am listing this as a 24 hour auction starting at half the price of the others here on Ebay. If it doesnt sell I am going to replace the $8 wheel and it will sell for much more. It doesnt matter what it looks like ... morebecause it will never be seen when the door is on the track. This was in a 120 year old barn that was recently torn down and while it has a rusty patina on the track, the doors at one time were painted red then white as those colors are on the rollers. The nails are very brittle so be gentle straightening them out. You set the price on this one as it goes to the last bidder! AWESOME SET OF ANTIQUE BARN DOOR ROLLERS J.O. & CO. READING, PA.((LOOK))
Up for auction we have an awesome pair of antique barn door rollers! The rollers are marked J.O. Co. Reading. PA. It looks as though the rollers were painted beige on the lower part and some remains of black paint on the tops of the rollers. I had another set of these same rollers that I sold on Ebay a few days ago, this is the last set that I have. The rollers measure 13 inches in length and the part that bolted to the barn door measures 4 1/2 inches across. As you can see from the photos for what ever reason the embossing on the roller on the right is somewhat weak but still readable. I cleaned these rollers with a soft brass brush, soap and water, then clear coated the rollers with spray enamel. The rollers are in very nice stable condition, no breaks cracks or repairs. From a local estate. Here is a remarkably clean pair of National Mfg Co. Big 4" barn door rollers. These are nice and heavy, measuring about 10.5" top to bottom, anout 5.75" across the mount. Mount is shaped like a horshe- wheel swings out. Both pieces are in remarkably good condition for their age, paint looks original, these were apparently used but maybe for an interior application, not much rust and oxidation. Antique Adjustable Barn Door Roller Set/2 Lot Vintage Farm Track Work to Restore
From a local estate. Here is a pair of antique barn door rollers in"as-found" condition. Standard rollers for a track system, measuring about 9.5" top to bottom, wheels are 1 7/8" These are VERY dirty with dried, caked grease, they are complete and everything works, all hardware is free, the adjustment nuts are both loose. THEY WERE FOUND ON A OLD FARM ESTATE WARE THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN THE 1870'S IN OHIO. ALL THE WHEELS SPIN FREE AND ALL THE AXLES PIVET. ONE OF THE WHEELS HAS A PART OF THE EDGE MISSING BUT I THINK IT WOULD STILL ROLL ON THE TRACK OK BUT CANT SAY FOR SURE.
