What a find! Perfect serving tray for the hunt toddies! This tray has some considerable age to it and does show signs of wear. There are a few of the studs from the horse shoe part of the design missing and a crack to the tray itself. All that taken into consideration. It does not detract from this fabulous piece wich can still be used as for its original functions or purely as decoration. The handles are made of small childs stirrups. Bolo Tie Vintage Late 1960s This 1960s vintage bolo tie has no stampings or markings. It is in very good undamaged condition. The horse head and shoe I think is cast bronze. It is mounted on leather which in turn is on a Brass( base in the shape of a cow or steer hide. Overall height is 1-1/2 inches and 1-1/4 inches wide. When my dad retired in the late 1960 my parents moved to Denver. My mom worked part-time at a"trading post" that sold Western and American Indian jewelry as well as other items. My mother tried to"Westernize" my dad with some of these accessories. Other then that I do not know the quality or value of these items which I inherited many years ago and kept as mementos. The appraisal as follows- one pair of ladies 14 karat(58.5% pure gold) yellow gold Victorian estate diamond earrings that weigh 7.3 grams(31.1 gram per troy ounce) The earrings each feature eleven rose cut diamonds in the horseshoe and one pear shaped rose cut diamond in the center for a total of twenty two diamonds in the set. Old 1930's Chromium Fireside Companion Set. The Stand that holds all the Tools is in the Shape of a large Horse Shoe. The Handles of 3 of the Tools have Horse Shoe Handles as well. It was made in England by Ianthe c1930's. It is nice condition and is a Great set to place in a Fireside. The Brush is Bristle.
