These hinges were salvaged from an old turn of the century barn that was being taken down and have a beautiful old metal patina. They all open and close easily and are very usable with strong joints; prefect parts for an old barn board project. Hinges measure 12 inches long from end to end and 2 3/4 inches wide at the center joint. Please inspect the pictures and feel free to email with any questions. Antique Blacksmith Forged Iron Primitive Farm Barn Door / Gate Hinges Massive!
These hinges are really big. Really heavy, really old, and really NEAT looking. Both together weigh 31 pounds. You can tell these were forged. I like how the outside edges were given a bevel. These hinges have spent most of their 100 plus years outside so there is rust and pitting. With proper care, they could last another 100 years. Use them inside or out or just hang them as they are for decoration.

A pair of early strap hinges with pintles door hardware
A nice pair of short strap hinges. They are 18th/early 19th century. The hinges are 11"11 2/2" long. They are in great condition. The pintles are not original to the hinges-but work well in them. These hinges will work well on a small door or even on a cupboard. The pintles by themselves are worth $15 a pair. Ask questions if interested. Watch for my other early iron.

Antique Barn Door Rolling Hinges
Up for your consideration is a pair of antique barn door hinges off an old farmhouse we bought in Vermont. They were on a door and are functional. They measure 11 1/2 inches high and 9 1/2 inches across the bottom with the overlap of the wheel on its furthest position. The groove is 1 and 2/16 of an inch and the depth is 1 and 11/16 inches. They are rusty and there is a 1 and 1/2 inch chip out of one of the wheels that I have tried to show in the pictures.

You are bidding on a set of antique barn door hinges. The total length of the hinge is 10 inches from the edge of the rectangular area to the tip of the hinge. The rectangular part is 5 1/2 inches x 2 inches. These hinges were salvaged off a barn near Kutztown. Pennsylvania. The wood from the door itself was restored and is now head boards for my twin grandson's beds. Awesome piece of history. Now lets give continued life to the hinges that were on the door!
