Beautiful ornate solid brass or bronze door pull + plate matching set from the historic. Victorian era grand"Badger Hotel" in Merrill, Wisconsin. This hotel burned down in the 1960's and this set is from the salvage company that had gained the rights to the hotel then. Please see pictures. The back plates measure 22 inches by 2 inches and are 1/4 of an inch thick. The handles are almost 20 inches long, have a 2 inch diameter and stand 3 3/4 inches out from the plates. Offered here is a very nice PAIR OF ANTIQUE-VINTAGE SARGENT& COMPANY METAL DOOR PULLS WITH DECORATIVE BACK PLATE. This high quality and decorative door back plate set is heavy duty. The handles or door pulls are fixed and only the thumb latch moves up and down. The door pulls are bolted to the back plate. One set of door pulls has original bolts holding them on and the other door pull has two screws and several washers securing the handle to the door plate. Pair Antique Colonial Solid Brass Pocket Sliding Door Finger Pulls Plates Handle
Penn Antique Restoration. Pair Antique Colonial Brass Pocket Door Pulls. Antique. Colonial style, pocket door pulls made around the turn of the previous century. They are made of solid, stamped/pressed brass, not plated iron/steel. At the point of salvage. The pulls were found dirty, lacquered, and heavily tarnished. Since then, we've cleaned them leaving some of the tarnish behind to preserve their aged look. The pull on the left side in the first photo has some deep scratches on the right side. Just outside of the recessed(cup) area. There is also a tiny dent that you could spot along the right edge, about 1" below the scratched area. The keyhole area of the same pull also has a few small dings around it-the previous owner obviously didn't have good aim with a key, or didn't see too well. However, these are not terribly ... moreobvious flaws, and you'll be more impressed by the cool, overall look of the pull than to notice such subtle imperfections. This Sargent pocket door lock set with key came from an auction in Vermont. I believe the face plates to made of brass. The face plates on the lock mortise measure 7 7/16" long and 1" wide. They are made for an 1 3/4" door. I believe the 4 pulls are made out of copper. All the mechanisms work. There is rust and wear marks. The brass side pulls measure 6 by 2 3/8 inches.

Old estate find. This auction is for a group of antique/vintage glass pulls or knobs for cabinet or dresser drawers or doors. There are six that are the same size[ looks like 1" x 1" and come with the bolt and nut. Then there are two that look like 1 1/4" long and two that look like 1 1/8" long but they are the knobs only- no bolt or nut- but the bolt and nut from the 1" knobs do fit. There is also one more 1" knob and a bolt without the nut. All knobs look to be in good shape. Set Antique Pocket Door Hardware Locks Plates Pulls
This set of antique pocket door hardware consists of four brass-plated door plates and two locks with brass-plated plates. The locks are operational. Pushing the button in the face causes the pulls to protrude. The lock moves but there is no key. There are some scratches on the door plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and corrosion in many spots where the plating has been worn through. The lock plates appear to have been scratched through to the steel extensively in past years. See the 3rd picture. The plate on the receiving lock has been bent around the opening where the curved lock shaft engages the plate. The receiving lock is marked Corbin. These door plates measure 2 3/8" x 7 3/4" The lock plates are both 1" x 7 5/8" The backset to the centerline of the key is 2 3/4" The hardware has not ... morebeen recoated.

Vintage Antique Brass Door Pulls Handles 8-1/2" & 6" Architectural Salvage 40's
Vintage Matching Door Pulls Solid Brass Architectural salvage from a building built in the 40's 5 Long. 7 short The longer pulls measure approx: 8 1/2" T he shorter pulls measure approx: 6" There is a set of long handles for double doors w/ outward curving ends. A set of straight ended, and one for a right handed door. 4 of the smaller handles match in curvature. 1 is slightly different. 2 of the smaller pulls look as though they may have been period replacements added at a later date than the originals. Antique Sargent Door Hardware Plates Pulls Escutcheon
This set of antique brass door hardware consists of two door plates. An interior door escutcheon, and two knobs The round door escutcheon is cast and the door plates are heavy stampings. There are some scratches on the plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and from wear over the years. The knobs could use some additional cleaning up or could be used as is. Screws are included. The door plates measures 2" x 7 1/2" The knobs measure 2 1/4" across and are quite heavy. The round escutcheon is 2 1/8" diameter and has been cleaned to bare metal. It didn't go with this door. But came from the same old house being torn down in Pittsburgh, The hardware has not been recoated.

Antique Sargent Entry Door Hardware Lock Plates Pulls Escutcheon
This set of antique brass entry door hardware consists of a large exterior door plate. An interior door escutcheon, an interior key escutcheon, two entry-sized knobs, the lock, the original screws with the exception of 1 small one for the key hole plate, and a long spindle from another door. The round door escutcheon is cast and the exterior door plate and the key escutcheon are heavy stampings. There is pitting on the outdoor components as can be seen in the pictures. There are some scratches on the plates from removing several coats of paint mechanically and from wear over the years. The door knob mechanism is operational but it does not quite retract all the way. It's been cleaned up some on the inside but not oiled. The door plate measures 2 1/4" x 9 1/4" The lock plate is 1 1/8" x 7" The backset to the centerline ... moreof the knob is 2 7/8" The knobs measure 2 1/2" across and are quite heavy. One of the shafts has been pounded with a sharp object at some time as can be seen in the 4th picture. The hardware has not been recoated.

I have others exactly like these listed except the finish or patina on the others is slightly different. If you’re a buyer who not only wants an antique handle but also one that looks old then these just might fit the bill. How many big and small hands and years to you think it took to wear away the brass finish and the black paint put on years later? The grasp has a 3” grip opening or what I would call an average ... moresize hands 4 finger pull. These would have had a brass finish but only a tad of that is remaining along with a speck of old black paint at places. They also have a smooth darken appearance with traces of light smooth surface rust. If you lightly wipe these down and give them a clear coat these will retain their patina for many more years to come. These would work great on large windows or screen doors or on heavy drawers. These are well made and heavy and nothing like the cheaply made imports of today. The measurements are taken at the attachment base and are about 4 5/8” long x 1 3/8” wide with the center to center of the screw holes being 4” x ¾” Free first class shipping in a padded envelope.
