For sale we have a beautiful antique pair of"BIG 4" barn door Rollers and track. The track measures 8 feet in length. Track is straight and solid cast Iron. Rollers pivot and pulley wheels turn perfectly. Nice rust patina throughout. Track had been painted light grey at one time when they re-painted the Barn. Pulley's have three different colors showing Red. Black and the Green/Grey. This is the real thing not a modern reproduction! This was salvaged from a century old barn in Northeast Wisconsin. Antique Heavy Duty Set Horseshoe Barn Door Rollers w/ 8' Track Blacksmith Nails
A very nice piece this is an antique set of two heavy duty barn door rollers complete with it's original 8' track and 13 blacksmith made nails we pulled out of the barn when we took everything down. It is complete and ready to install but some of the nails need straightened and the one roller wheel has a broken flange and it will need to be replaced. This is very simple to do. Drill or grind off the one rivet head I am pointing two and the wheel just slips out. You will need another similar 3" wheel to take its place, I would think a 3" pulley bought here on Ebay or at a home improvement store will work perfect. I am listing this as a 24 hour auction starting at half the price of the others here on Ebay. If it doesnt sell I am going to replace the $8 wheel and it will sell for much more. It doesnt matter what it looks like ... morebecause it will never be seen when the door is on the track. This was in a 120 year old barn that was recently torn down and while it has a rusty patina on the track, the doors at one time were painted red then white as those colors are on the rollers. The nails are very brittle so be gentle straightening them out. You set the price on this one as it goes to the last bidder! Starts at $150 and ships for only $30, may be a little more to the West Coast and the S.W. States. Sorry but I cant do Alaska or Hawaii. Please if there is a problem let me know. For sale we have a nice antique pair of"BIG 4" barn door Rollers and Track. The track is made up of one six foot cast iron piece and one three foot cast iron piece with the male& female puzzle knotches on each end of both. So the total track length measures slightly over 9 feet. Track is solid, rollers pivot and pulley wheels turn well. Replaced the one C.I. wheel in the one as the existing wheel had been cracked in the back of it. New C.I. wheel is 3-1/2" diameter while the Big 4 with the original wheel is only 3" diameter so when mounting on your door you will have to make the 1/2" adjustment. Nice rust patina throughout. a pair of louden"roll easy" brand barn door rollers that are in very good working condition. The roller wheel on the left has what I would call a very small casting flaw on the outer edge of the wheel. It just looks like it missing a small chip[ 1/8" by 1/8" and it does not affect the wheels performance in any way. Other than that they have no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely like they should. They come with 4 original good working bolts and square nuts. The door hanger straps are for a door 1 3/4" thick. There are 2 pcs of louden brand track[ one 6' pc and one 8' pc] The 6' pc has a rail connector pc on the left end of it to connect it to the 8' pc. Both pcs of track are good and straight and both pcs come with all of the original cast steel wall brackets there and well connected. ... moreThe wall brackets hold the rail out 1 1/2" from the wall. A local artist has painted some colorful horses on the front(see pictures) but the buyer can appreciated the art or simply paint over them. The door otherwise has a light grey, faded paint on the front, seen under the horses. and on the back it has the original, unfinished frame wood with the vertical door boards painted in a vintage, medium to dark green color. The door is in great condition with the absolute strong integrity of a well built custom stall door. A set of antique myers ok stayon door rollers[ pat. May 28th 01] that has no chips or cracks and the 3 1/4" wheels turn freely. This set of rollers is in very good working condition. They come with 4 good working carriage bolts and square nuts. And lag bolts for the track. The 6' pc of myers brand track is good and straight with all of the original wall brackets there and they are well attached. The wall brackets would hold the track out 1 1/2" from the wall and the rail of the track measures 1 1/4" tall by 3/16" thick. I did carefully strip and clean and handpaint all of this to give it a new but yet somewhat old look. Antique 8 Ft Rail & Pair Barn Door Rollers unique track ready to finished!!!
These rollers and track were part of a set of doors that came off a tractor barn where I grew up. The track is pretty substantial. The rollers sit inside and roll very well still. I have the other set and I am going to spray paint them black. Build my own door made of old barn wood and use the in my house. The track is 8 foot long so it will make a nice 4 foot door to slide on. You will just need to pick up some lag bolts to connect them to the door and wall. These are somewhere around sixty or seventy years old so they are rusty and could use a good scrub but once they are painted they will look awesome. The unique feature on this is the track which is more prominent than the rollers. I listed as local pick up only but will be happy to work with any buyer on shipping.
