This Birdseye maple antique dresser is a rarity. It has an attached beveled swivel mirror that fits within a maple curved frame. And is in good condition. The three dovetailed drawers open easily and still lock. The Birdseye maple is a beautiful golden color. There are a few stains on the top of the dresser. The dresser is 27 1/2” tall(from the floor to top of dresser) and 42" wide, with a depth of 22" front to back. Overall height from the floor to top of mirror frame is 72" The top 2 drawers are 5” deep while the bottom drawer is 7” deep. Up for auction is a vintage Barbola Style dresser mirror with a plastic paste(not gesso) crest of flowers and ribbon surrounding a beveled glass mirror and mounted on a wooden easel back frame. These mirrors were made in the 1920's and 1930's by making a plastic paste of resin and sawdust and moulding and painting the flowers and ribbon trim. The mirror is 10 1/2" tall and it is 8 1/2" across. It has two wooden bun feet in the front. It is not marked. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks.
